    Congestion charges

I wouldn't have thought so, it's outside of the charging zone.

Hire a car. Won't be anymore than £120 for 3 days

No doubt if he did it'd be written off as a pr stunt (which it probably is)

What if you want to walk down Wembley Way? It's a good hike from Central (or 5 mins on the bus).

    Trains on Sunday

Virgin have put no extra trains on, and some Coventry City fans have blamed the club for it. The £225m net public subsidy they get clearly isn't enough to put on an extra train or too.

    Globe

The Globe is shite, I stay around that area a fair bit, it's one of the worst pubs in the area apart from that odd Spoons across the road

    Globe

I don't particularly rate it in there, understandable that it's Oxford as it's towards Marylebone where Oxford come in. There are loads of pubs between there and Euston on either side of Euston Rd / Marylebone Road anyway. Otherwise, probably an idea to head east from Euston so you get on...

    Beers for Wembley

Doom Bar is the Carling of ale really, pretty mediocre.

    Cov on Talksport now

'Wrighty' - the bloke is an utter div. How on earth the BBC / ITV think he's worth a salary is beyond me.

    Killer the enigma

Great article, nice place Holmfirth too. I might have a look at for his gaff next time I visit, usually drive through on the way to Cov.

Biggest attendance being Wolves v Burnley in 1988, 80k......both teams having been first to fourth and back again......

    32,000 sold already

75k would be an excellent effort imo, decent from Oxford too considering they've been to Wembley already in the same competition. Put it into the top 4 attendances in that game ever.

    32,000 sold already

That's my point, both sides use the customer argument. I don't see myself as a customer as I don't think football is the same as the cinema or the theatre or even rugby union. That said, it doesn't mean clubs can take advantage of goodwill from fans.

BBC Midlands today - team of 87 not invited...

I'd like the 87 team to be there but is it fair on the current day crop really

They play in the 10th level of football, i.e. a level below Cov Sphinx and Cov Utd - same level as Copsewood but a different district.

I suppose the usual suspects will pour cold water over the fact that 40 odd thousand are going to a match to watch their team and enjoy their day
