    New Coventry Council House Why???

Cheers NW. Was aware of it then just didn't realise that they brew their own. Never been in though. Maybe I should.

Yes we did. Especially early doors when the form was good. Certainly an improvement on the previous season which of the back of we apparently had (in the end) a top eight budget. Yet last season we had improved attendances, transfer money in, a decent shirt which sold out in my size before I...

    New Coventry Council House Why???

Pretty sure Second Sport is an Eastern European supermarket now. The brewery is a new one on me to be honest but I rarely go into the town centre to either drink or shop these days. In fact I go in to get my haircut and that's about it.

    New Coventry Council House Why???

It's a shit hole NW. There's no decent shops in it, the roof leaks when it rains and areas of it have a funky smell. You're right about M&S. They've also just built some new units at Junction One (by the cinema) which I believe a B & M is one of the shops going in, not sure what that will mean...

We went in good numbers last season and the budget still got cut. Even with the Madison money factored in as well. We went from top 8 to bottom half of the table budget in the blink of an eye. Explain that one?

    New Coventry Council House Why???

I wish Rugby had a Uni willing to help redevelop the town centre TBH. It's a hole full of empty shops, pound shops, card shops, charity shops and bookies and a shopping centre and multistory car park that are an eye saw and need knocking down. The out of town shopping on the Leicester road is...

Best of luck to him. He's the only person whose been connected to this club in a long long time who has given us some hope.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I voted remain and still believe that would be for the best. However. I also believe in democracy (regardless of how narrow the victory was) so if knob head Tony Blair did by some miracle get the referendum re-run I would be more likely to vote leave than remain. Unless of course something so...

Not sure what you're trying to say there. Which club? He sold 4 or 5 in his time didn't he? Didn't he want to merge CP and Wimbledon? Wasn't he heavily criticised for the amount of money he paid himself from the club's he owned too? Is this really the yard stick you're going to use to measure...

Is this the same Ron Noades who said black players have no brains or common sense? Sounds like someone we should be ignoring wouldn't you agree?

Anyway, back on topic. Here's an interesting article on a cautious tale of mixing hedge funds and football. Crystal Palace and Simon Jordan's troubles a cautionary tale for all owners

Has a judge ever said it about him? Or anyone else of note for that matter? Or is it just an observation of "several people"?

Sounds like he's perfectly qualified to be a hedge fund boss. According to one judge anyway.

    Managers Since Sillett

My god you're a tedious bore. You were wrong. Get over it. Good job we didn't bring loan players into the equation. He actually shrunk the squad if you do. We had a smaller squad when he left than the one he inherited. It's as simple as that. I'm sorry if that contradicts the grendull "fact" but...

    Managers Since Sillett

So. He signed 11 and released 11. How did he bloat the squad? Are you saying he should have kept the youth team players? Surely if he did he would have bloated the squad. How could two have been part of his squad all along? He arrived in February 2007 and didn't sign anyone until the summer of...

    Managers Since Sillett

Another Grendull "fact". He signed 11 and released 11 players during his time with us. If the squad was absurdly large it was always that way.

Match Thread AFC Wim'don v Coventry Match Thread - Tuesday 14th Feb

When you can't defend (which we clearly can't) then attack is your best form of defense.
