    All Tony's are multi-skilled. It's a well known fact :)

That's one of the good things about Elliott's field in Rugby. You're certainly not going to die from caffeine deficiency there's that many coffee shops, there's a Nandos and unless it's closed again an Eds Diner. Also on the doorstep a Hungry Horse, Harvester, Frankie and Bennies, Maccy D's and...

Not when I tell you I was approached by one in Khao Lak today. With a dog of course. Same the world over ;)

Yeah I don't understand it either. It's at least a nucleus for regeneration. Many towns and cities don't have that luxury including my home town of Rugby. We're destined for a high street of bookies, charity shops, card shops, pound shops and empty shops.

So I guess what you're really saying is that CCC should be applauded for their assistance in growing the student population of Coventry as it's led to the start of a regeneration of Coventry City centre that otherwise wouldn't have happened. That must hurt. Probably why you're not saying it...

1 hour on google and all you can come up with is an article 6 years out of date. Was it worth the effort?

Seen one following a spice addict in Manchester. The only good thing you could say about it was it cured him of his heroin addiction. Until he made the point it was worse than heroin as at least there was help with heroin addiction such as the methadone program. Nothing to substitute spice with...

Only the crossings either by Tesco or further down the road. You can get into the back of the other retail park by walking by the side of the river along Tesco's car park and turn right across a foot bridge over the river. It takes you up the side of the cinema straight to B& M. Probably could...

Opposite Tesco's on the Leicester Road. Trust me, it's a godsend for Rugby. As much as I've hated seeing the decline of Rugby town centre the fact is if I wanted to go clothes shopping, buy the wife an Xmas present etc. I had to either do it online or go somewhere other than Rugby to do it...

I was talking to a Rugby councillor privately a while ago who I know a little through a friend. We were talking about the redevelopment of Elliotts Fields in Rugby and I was asking him why we couldn't attract any of the big names there into the quickly emptying town centre and his reply was...

    Gray's Gone

I can't help but admire Burnley, Dyche and the way the club is run. I have a mate who's a Burnley fan and he constantly reminds me that it has a population similar to Rugby. Only adding to my admiration. Great club.

They've spent loads on first team training facilities and academy facilities. Needed to as well. Saw an interview with Dyche a while ago from their old training ground and the office's, changing facilities etc were prefabs and statics. They on the face of it seem to be spending their premier...

Dion Dublin Hat-Trick 20 years ago

I think it was something like that. The guy who was the chief importer/distributor for the UK organized it. Seem to remember it being said at the time he was a big CCFC fan. Anyone know if that was true and if so what happened to him? Surely he's got to few bob to help save the club if true.

Dion Dublin Hat-Trick 20 years ago

IIRC we had just signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Subaru/Isuzu and all the dealers were moaning because they were paying for it through some sort of premium added to each car. Only for Dublin to score an opening day hat trick and Subaru was plastered all over the back pages on the Sunday and...

Match Thread Grimsby Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 12th Aug

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a decent win by us. Pretty sure they'll play hoof ball much the same as Notts Country and we seemed to handle them well enough. Would like to see the Duck squeezed in the starting line-up somewhere if only because I don't think JJ will score us a hat trick every...

opposition forum before and after games - week 2 Grimsby

They seem a level headed bunch. I particularly liked this comment. "I do actually admire their fans; an enlightened, go-ahead club suffered an appalling buy-out by a hedge fund which is driving them into oblivion. It takes a loyal fan to keep following them as far as here despite what they...

    Jodi Jones - 100k?

You were the one insisting he was a premier league manager when he turned up and jumped on me for being realistic about what standard he was pointing out that he was here because he was rebuilding his managerial career after abject failure. You then went on to be one of the first to push him of...
