Would you play for City for free?!

Think they did one for Inter Milan as well A quick search tells me the player who won that is back playing for the local club he left after he won the show  Still don't doubt the experience was good for him...

I doubt it, probably just a slap on the wrist.

Would you play for City for free?!

Yea but then I would leave in January to play for Man City for 50k a week, make sure I get a hefty signing on fee as well.

Tim Fisher has said the club are investigating it “We have received reports regarding a first team player and his use of Twitter and we are investigating the matter.

    England v italy

Andy Carroll showed his inexperience vs Italy, many times he had zero pressure and had space to take the ball down on the chest. Instead he chose to flick it on to an Italian defender 70% of the time.

Good news Premiership winger about to sign

So what team would we like to see put together for the WC qualifiers? For me ---------Hart Walker--Jagielka--Lescott--Cole ---Cleverly--Gerrard--Wilshere --Johnson-----Rooney-----Young Young had a piss poor tournament but he was probably our most in form player going into the tournament, lets...

who are your all time best city 11 ?

Sub in Eastwood and Bell when we need fresh legs in the last 20 mins of the game :/

    Richard Shaw

Basically this guy thinks all players that play for Cov should be former world player of the year and score 40 goals a season because Shaw wasn't good enough to play for the best teams in the country he wasn't good enough he is saying. So actually he is saying we should have the same quality of...

    Richard Shaw

Just ignore him, this guy is an ass with a stuck up elitist attitude and looks down on those who have a different opinion than him. Save yourself some stress about him getting you wound up and let him and Sir Alex have their sleep overs and tea parties where they talk about how great they are...

Owen and Beckham probably You could say the same about German players though, many of them don't play outside Germany apart from Ozil and Khadeira only very recently and they are not a bad side. I think it is good that the english players play in their home country, there is just too many...

    England v italy

Carroll was piss poor tonight, so many time the ball was bashed up to him he has a 5 yard space radius all around him and he flicked onto the Italian defence. If you watch Crouchy he can take down on his chest and turn with the ball at his feet which Carrol should have been doing.

    England v italy

No we weren't, so I would prefer we attacked the opposition an went out with a bang rather than defending for our lives and hoping to fluke it.

    England v italy

Yes, Rooney and Welbeck are fed by Valencia and Nani constantly at club level and Walcott, Milner and Downing don't come close to that Gerrard is probably the acception as he has ran the Liverpool midfield for the last decade but even then some of his best football came playing alongside Alonso...

    England v italy

We were never going to win the tournament playing anti football, too physically demanding to concede 60%+ possession in games every 4 days.

His appointment was a mistake by the FA :/

He was worse vs Ukraine despite the goal, I am only judging the first half tonight when we were competing.
  17. SkyBlue_Bear83

    England v italy

Not nonsense, we played ok first half an showed some attacking intent. From 45 mins to 120 it was just anti football.

    England v italy

Nice anti football by Hodgson Would have preferred Redknapp come in, play with 2 out an out wingers and have a real go at attacking the opposition. We used all our luck up in the 4 games before hand.

    The Chinaman Has Not Disappeared

Can't really say fairer than that, a lot of the senior players let us down last season at different times throughout the season. Juke for the first half of the season and Keogh are probably the only players who don't fall under that bracket. Although I will say any change of manager would have...

    The Chinaman Has Not Disappeared

No it wasn't imo, if you think so then that is your opinion but I think you are wrong. For 2/3 of the season it was replaced by players who shouldn't have been playing in the first team imo. I would agree to an extent here, it was going to be hard to replace King and who knows what could have...
