    FA Cup Vs Hartlepool

Think you hae a good chance mate from what I've seen of you this season. We have Clarke out injured and Wilson suspended, so it may be a bit expermetnal with some more kids coming in (almost literally kids!). Difficult to say on numbers.

    Baker

Thats how I saw it too. Both Baker and Moussa were doubled up on (sometimes three defenders). Clear tactic to stop the suply to the lads up front. Good move to take him off, but it seemed puerly tactical to me.

    Danny Kelly - Talksport

I am probably a bit too old to be standing on my seat and waving a scarf around, but it just sort of happened for the second goal. Lent someone of a similar age my scarf for the third goal so he could repeat the act. Was like the old days (when these sorts of days would come round every now and...

    Trouble at Cov station

I know one of the guys Nick, and I can asssue you that he is no trouble maker, just passionate about the club and upset like the rest of us. Odd that he wasn't there yesterday - most unusual

songs you miss singing from the past on the terraces

It was a bit of a one off but thought that "Feed the Pompey, let them know its Christmas time" was witty at the cup game a couple of years back. Feed the City....

Closer to relegation than play-offs ...

Couldn't agree more. We have always been that sort of club (on the pitch). Seem to remember back in a previous life when we beat Man Utd 3-2 and went on a fantastic run, that we would have been in the relegation zone if we had lost that game. Win on Sat and we can look forward (sudden bout of...

19,726 total support in 9 Games

I really hope Sunderland stay up this season and prosper in the future. When my club folds, I think I will start supporting them.

    New Stadium confirmed

It this turns out to be true then I suspect that will be the end for me. Not being doom and gloom, but I cannot see how the club will survive (ok, a bit doom and gloom)

    The twelfth man

Young, small, fatigued squad. Being sussed out to some extent. Be interesting on Saturday with the support, as long as we all get behind the team with the same enthusiasm as would have been the case without the heavy defeats. I actually think the should be less pressure on the team in some ways...

    Chris Dagnall on loan?

Good goal poacher, and proven scorer at lower league level. Would seem a good idea to me

He doesn't need to justify going, so why start (another) thread about himself. Enjoy the game, even if your are a bit too close to home for my liking :)

    WCCC New name

I follow Northamptonshire. Interesting when Warickshire play in Northampton you get loads of Warickshire lads turning up - but a bit shy on the Brummies.

    Grimmest places watching City

Luton, Withdean, Sutton (watched Kettering there the same season they knocked us out to cleanse the soul - it worked ish), Baseball Ground, Birmingham in the early 80's - pure danger including the Police)

do you think we will bounce back !

These things happen. At least we are in a resonable place in the the table. If we can stay unbeaton for the next two then I will be happy enough.
