So where would we be better off

Yes, That's a fairly simple concept. If you were on the property ladder, looking for a permanent home, would you buy or rent? You'd buy because although you have massive debt and a mortgage to pay initially it's difficult, but you enjoy having no mortgage to pay once you've paid it, but if...

So where would we be better off

No, ACL are earning off the fruits off CCFC's labour, we brought the site, which the Council decontaminated for Tesco (their money helped pay for RICOH) and when we moved there, we paid 1.28m, a rip off, but worse still, we get no revenue off CCFC events - morally wrong IMO - and ACL benefit...

So where would we be better off

I wouldn't know. Like Grendel said, revenue is king, if you have a lot of revenue, you can take on more debt, at the RICOH, the problem is, we get nothing from it, if we owned our stadium, we'd save because we don't have to pay rent and make profit off the stadium so you can pay debt...

So where would we be better off

Fair enough, but when the mortgage is paid off. This is why I've specifically said that LONG TERM, it'd be better than renting, short term I've admitted it's better to rent - but that's not the bigger picture.

So where would we be better off

And renting our stadium for 1.28m p/a whilst we get no revenue streams from it has contributed greatly to our current demise.

So where would we be better off

I've always said 20-25k so I'm not changing anything, 15k or less is simply pointless. Facilities we don't benefit from anyway. Still waiting for you to publish your maths... By your logic, I assume you'd rather rent your home than buy one? So when you're old, you won't enjoy life more...

So where would we be better off

Parasite: - An organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host's expense. derogatory. A person who habitually relies on or exploits others and gives nothing in return. I think that could applied to ACL as well.

So where would we be better off

Where have you got 50m from? They're looking at 30m. Some will probably get wiped when we come out of admin, then the stadium money will get paid off over time.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

I don't think this is the case. People just cba anymore, that's why they don't go, not all because of SISU, those boycotters won't be in a hurry to return when SISU leave. SISU clearly do have an interest in the playing squad - there's no evidence they don't - hence they signed 20 players...

So where would we be better off

I think you find it would, that's why very basic stadiums like Huish Park, Gresty Road etc. allow those clubs to be self sustainable. A basic 20-25k stadium would make us very sustainable. It doesn't matter that the RICOH has all these facilities, we don't benefit from them so that argument...

So where would we be better off

When the mortgage does get paid off, it's all plain sailing - hence I say it's better in the long term. No, where does it say anything about renting this new HR2!? Anyway, that wasn't the given scenario, the scenario was owning your stadium or renting it.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

Our best players were frees last season - Moussa, Murphy, Clarke, McG (if loans count as a free), Bailey (1st half), Adams, Fleck, Jennings. Just because you spend money on a player, doesn't mean he's going to be better than a freebie, for example, Eastwood, Barton.

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

It's one of those, we'll wait and see, but if that's all we can muster, then we should be ashamed of ourselves because that'd be absolutely embarrassing!

Will the Football League condone SISU's actions ?

I'm sorry but we're not going to be playing in Walsall or Nene Park! If you believe that it's no wonder there are many gullible people on here! Nene Park is used by people (largely by 'anti-SISU posters) to scaremonger, moving there has no economic viability because crowds would be about...

So where would we be better off

What maths when there aren't any figures to add up?! If the club has lost c. 10m in renting the RICOH already, in less than 10 years, how is that sustainable? That's 10m we would've saved had we owned our stadium. Owning or renting! Owning is more economically viable in the long term -...

So where would we be better off

I'm the fool? If you rent a stadium, you're always paying, not as much as building a stadium, in the short term, but over time, there's a break even point when you build a stadium and from then, you start making money, of course, when you rent, you don't get that. Or am I missing...

So where would we be better off

Why's it relevant? SISU or anyone weren't in a position to build anything in the first place. We had a stadium, we have a training ground, what else could we build?

So where would we be better off

Can you read? I've made quite explicit that I don't want to leave the RICOH but, owning a stadium is better than leasing one. Do the maths.

Exactly, so all this criticism is all OTT.

So where would we be better off

Where are you going with this? Because what would SISU, or anyone for that matter, would've had to build anything? If you mean a squad? We built a squad that was decent (Gunnar, Fox, Dann, Eastwood, Clingan, Turner, Best, Hendo team) under Coleman and this team at the minute is a top 10 L1...
