They offer them a 50% stake in the Ricoh, I can't see SISU signing up to a long term rent deal with Wasps.

How can it benefit us when the club and the fans haven't been consulted on it.

They have to try and put some positive spin on it. Only way it could have a chance of working, would be a partnership. 50:50 stake in the Ricoh between wasps and us, which won't happen.

Even if all fans defected from CRFC to Wasps as pointed out it wouldn't be more than 1-2k. I can't see many of there current fanbase following them up here either, it just doesn't seem to make sense.

Any flickering glimmer of hope we had for a long term future at the Ricoh is gone. Time to move on with building a new stadium now.

I hope it falls flat on its face, I know I will never attend a single Wasps match in Coventry and would encourage the rest of the city to do the same.

Why on earth would we want to stay at the Ricoh under Wasps ownership, pay rent and fund a franchise club and let them take all the revenues out of the stadium.

We have no choice, the council have betrayed the football club.

Agreed, I don't understand why they don't match the bid. They will spend more building a worse stadium and probably lose another few k off the fan base if it isn't within the boundary of coventry. Either way it's still disgraceful of the council if it goes through.

And about the sixfields exile, whilst all agree it was terrible from SISU they said it was because they couldn't trust ACL/CCC. And look they were right.

No idea, it is wishful thinking. But why would Wasps buy a stadium that imo they won't fill?
