Sisu what are your plans for CCFC ?

Whether people believe it or not they've been saying for about the past 18 months there plan is to build a new stadium.

    Open Letter To Coventry Council

Yea then you can do one and go watch Coventry Wasps at the Ricoh or whatever they are calling themselves.

    Open Letter To Coventry Council

Did the club right that letter? It seems SISU are actually being the voice of reason for once

    wasps crowds

For some people today is a day to rejoice and celebrate. SISU will finally never get there hands on the Ricoh, instead some rugby club miles away will get it.

    wasps crowds

I asked this the other day, I genuinely can't see them getting more than a couple of K. I can't see the city of Coventry welcoming them with open arms due to the circumstances behind the move and Coventry doesn't seem to be a massive Rugby city anyway and not many wasps fans will follow them to...

Labour group votes to approve £19.5m Ricoh sale to Wasps

Council have shown their true colours, some will still defend them though. Taking this deal at face value the council have no choice but to help the club build the new stadium within the city boundary.

Labour group votes to approve £19.5m Ricoh sale to Wasps

There has to be some sort of catch or something more to this deal, otherwise it's a disaster and pointless.

Wasps deal is for 100% of ACL

Disaster. The Ricoh Arena was built for Coventry City. We can only hope that the person behind the bid pulls off his rubber mask to reveal Tim Fisher. How the council can justify selling the city's football stadium is beyond me, now everyone can see their true colours but some will still...

Questions for Waggott and Fisher at the Trust open meeting

This seems to have been overlooked but surely is fantastic news? Also interesting points about CCFC teaming up with Cov rugby club to put in a bid, surely everyone in the city would back that compared to this travesty of a deal they are about to do with Wasps.

Wasps officials have held talks about making Ricoh permanent home

Exactly, it seems futile. That article talks of an exciting opportunity and making connections with the local community and making Coventry there home etc. It all seems like rubbish to me, hardly anyone from Coventry will go to watch them and hardly any of there current fan base will follow...

Wasps officials have held talks about making Ricoh permanent home

What are home attendances like for Wasps team currently? Can anyone actually see a good number of people living in Coventry going to support them? Or there current fanbase following them here?

Team for JPT Game - 4-4-2 worth a go??

Phillips isn't definitely out yet, I reckon the team will be ------------Burge Phillips--Willis--Webster--Hines--Haynes -------Daniels--Barton--Thomas ----------Mcquoid---Miller That's 4 changes, Maddison and G Thomas to feature from the bench

Mick Quinn: Deal with WASPS includes deal for CCFC to remain at Ricoh

Does they just mean just for 2-4 years which was never in doubt. Theres no way SISU will agree to continuing to play at the Ricoh beyond 2-4 years with wasps owning it and taking all the revenues.

Conor Thomas must be dropped from SP's starting 11

I'd like to see what Finch can do in the team, Barton isn't the answer and Coulibaly seemingly doesn't fit the system.

    So Much for Ricoh Return

Agreed the club should be doing much more to increase attendances

    Ratings vs Crawley

I'd have bossed the game against that Crawley midfield

    Ratings vs Crawley

Maybe you're right in which case 5-3-2 will never work, the midfield 3 don't get forward enough and the full backs can't get to the byline to deliver dangerous crosses.

A point and a terrific perfomance say's Elvis

If the opposition played well and pinned us back it wouldn't bother me. Crawley got both of there goals from nothing balls up the pitch, they offered absolutely nothing going forward and managed to score 2 goals in 4 minutes. You look at the result and as an outsider you'd think blimey great...

    Ratings vs Crawley

tbf today it would have probably worked better as Crawley offered nothing. Against the better teams though should we be looking at a choice between O'Brien or Fleck? If we play Thomas/Finch in a holding role, then Fleck/O'Brien in a play making role to try and dictate and then...
