How about this, we buy it. Then we tell wasps we want 30 million for our 50%. Then we use the 30 million to build the Fisher Arena in Coventry where we own 100% and have no egg chasers ruing our pitch.
It's the master plan
It's everyones right to go if they want to, just as people were entitled to go to sixfields if they wanted.
Personally I have no interest in watching Rugby anyway regardless of the circumstances anyway so it isn't even really a decision for me.
Sixfields wasn't financially viable but it still happened.
Theres no way SISU are going to agree to be long term tenants at the Ricoh where Wasps own 100%.
It's all empty words, you think these thieves care about CCFC?
The football club is just viewed as another revenue stream for them.
For me it's a 50:50 partnership with wasps or a new stadium in Coventry.
Apparently Coventry City Ltd still has first refusal on the Higgs 50% so it will be offered to the liquidator of CCFC Ltd before wasps purchase goes through
How good can a rental deal be though, it hasn't worked over the last 10 years has it?
I'd imagine we've got a pretty good/fair deal at the moment and Fisher said that the current deal is only viable in league 1.
If Wasps are serous about keeping us at the Ricoh long term they should offer us 50% today.
I think wasps are under the impression that we will be happy to remain as tenants indefinitely.
