Is the United Kingdom a country?

It was a state, just that its population generally retained their own national identities which obviously unravelled very badly

The Queen is not the head of the government

Stayed at the Drayton Court pub in West Ealing a couple of times for work, it's alright round there

    Liam Kelly

He's had covid as well, so while his injury may have healed he has been otherwise out of action. Not really sure what the panic is.

Would you have Tom Bayliss back?

People forget what a superb talent he was and the way he burst on to the scene, a 17 year old kid getting kicked about in L2. When we played Stoke at home in the FA Cup he didn't look out of place up against Shaqiri

It's always been the same. I'm not really sure what the point of the Ticket Master link up is, if the stadium can't handle electronic tickets (which would take away so much hassle for the ticket office and fans) then what's the point?

There is some scaffolding which provides a platform. The problem with the other side is that it would have to go in the upper tier where there are full height windows for the executive lounges and would restrict the view. The other option would be to possibly fit a gantry above the windows, but...

The West stand has looked reasonably well populated compared to what it has been in the past. No chance they can swap sides though, the current gantry is an afterthought in the design, there is just no where for it to go on the other side

They were never a well supported club, the good gates they got in their period of success were a blip. They don't like the owner either

It wasn't actually but it was the first Saturday game there since Ibiza. Good day out that was, can't believe it's 15 years ago. I think the season before we played there in an evening sky game?

    Premier League thread

Getting smashed 4-1 now. Antonio should be in the England squad, in some respects he'd work better than Kane as complementary to some of the other players we've got.

Reading manager and the 8 minutes

He should really turn his anger on his team, to allow Hamer to run through the middle of the pitch as they did that late in the game is pretty unforgivable

    Premiership upgrades

Not that, and it's of course very early days, it's a great model to follow from a supporter's perspective nor proven to gradually improve any teams. Who'd want to write off entire seasons just for the benefit of the club's bank balance.
