Robins still working wonders at Coventry

I agree with what you're saying but still think it's generally the case in all of the Football League divisions that clubs able to spend money on fees are those you find towards the top of the table, so it is still relevant.

    Premiership upgrades

What are the parachute payment terms for a club that has spent a single season in the top flight? Are they the same as a club that has been relegated after many years i.e. 3 years or so? Either way, you're right that they'd hold on to extract as much capital as possible

    Simon Moore

Tbf Blackpool tested him a number of times the other night but yeah, in general he's not had too much to deal with. Cardiff and Middlesbrough will be big tests due to the way both teams play, especially the former.

    They're both abysmal bitters

    Hyam

Hyam was directly the cause of our only defeat this season

    Hyam

Prefer Rose defensively and going forward but Hyam is fine

Flat track bullies? I thought they were narrow wins. Make your mind up.

The scoreline has been narrow but we've created a lot, so it's not particularly accurate to suggest the wins have been narrow in the true sense of the term

The "two poor teams" is a cliché trotted out by fans on these forums, usually as if it's some consolation to how shite their own team is. It's in the same bracket as "lost the dressing room" in its vacuity.

Godden's winner really was a vintage Godden strik, loves that lateral run across the box ready for a lay off. His movement to sniff out a chance really is great.

    Waghorn.....

He's been very disappointing, like I've said he looks so laboured.

    Jamie ‘Wonderman’ Allen

As I said last season by he was being asked to play a very difficult role filling a 50 yard gap between Kelly and Hamer and the strikers. He's always been a tidy and intelligent player and now the whole team is so much further up the pitch he's making a bigger impact. Pleased for him.

Brilliant desire from the lads, just kept on driving. Deserved the winner. Sheaf showing his potential and some.

He'll be out the side when Kelly comes back though

We look all over the place at the back. Dabo is no centre back and playing him out of position rather than just playing Pask is bizarre, it's weakened us defensively and going forward

Hard to recall results at home v Reading over the years, I remember they played in one of the early games at the Ricoh, got a feeling it was a draw. Found this one from the last season at Highfield Rd, don't recall this game at all. A rare win under Peter Reid:

On the other hand if you're that age you're going to maximise your earnings as your earning potential is about to fall off a cliff, it's half a dozen years of commuting. From what was said previously he lives in the North West in any case
