    Relegation odds

We've just built on decent momentum from the end of last season, we didn't have that after winning league 1 cos the gap in time and quality was just too big at that point. We've broadly stuck with the 3-5-2 but adapted to the pace of this league now.

    Match Thread Warnock’s delusional?

The whole podcast is great and tbh Warnock comes across ok. I know people don't like him but I'd have loved to have had him in charge here as he has got a good record at this level.

Not sure why, they're in a similar bracket to Sunderland but with even less pedigree. That said, Steve Gibson really deserves a better return for his 25 years of bankrolling them.

Good to see the players celebrating with Waghorn, perhaps he's agreed to share his large wage with them all @cc84cov

Tbf if we'd lost that game in their position we'd be disappointed given they had a couple of decent chances

I think they've lost a few of those players though haven't they? I thought they looked a decent side for similar reasons, pace and power.

    Things that annoy you

The annual 9/11 tribute on Facebook. I'm in no way denying it was a dreadful terrorist attack in which many innocent people were killed, but it isn't the only one.

The principle is that your employer decides which illness is worthy of sick pay and which isn't. I asked you before, should somebody double vaccinated yet off work ill with covid get paid yet somebody unvaccinated shouldn't? Is Morrison's giving its staff paid leave to go and get the vaccine?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Leaving the EU per se isn't the problem. The route the government has taken to do it is. We could be an non EU member with access to the single market and customs union but both sides took childishly polarised positions and we got the worst of everything.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Do you really consider yourself left wing with this sort of logic? I presume you're ok with somebody having no sick pay for sports injuries? What about somebody who is double vaccinated yet still ill enough to need time off? It's no credit to Morrisons that they pay statutory sick pay, it is a...

I genuinely can't remember the last time I seen it. Though I've not lived in Cov for nearly 15 years now and Carling isn't as popular here. From what I recall it was Carling but a bit smoother, similar in mouthfeel to Caffreys

I can't see that discretionary judgement call being extended to other illness or injury at all. What if the employee caught covid at work?

I think people should get the vaccine but also think this is appalling for employee rights and sets a dreadful precedent
