So to clarify, if we finger dogs, does this mean we are supporting SISU? What about if we just kiss them?

I can recommend the Oasis Leisure Centre, but little else.

Always optimistic, this may not end well for you..... James Stockdale – a veteran who survived almost 8 years in a P.O.W. camp was asked if the people who didn’t make it had anything in common, he said this: “Oh, that’s easy, the optimists. Oh, they were the ones who said, ‘We’re going to be...

    There is another way but.....

Do you think that SISU are using the same cunning plan?

At this public sacrifice who will keep any food and beverage money?

Presumably you will be the manager, name your first 11, you can have past and present players (not sure about present), then we can say whether the Ricoh will be full.

Why don't the Trust now ask ACL....

So far then we've established that the cost is not known, especially for a new non league side with relatively low attendances. If income of £4 (net of VAT) was paid by 3,000 people I think that would be enough to cover a possible charge from ACL, obviously all guesswork though.

Why don't the Trust now ask ACL....

Surely that includes a fixed and variable amount, depending on how many people go. What is the breakdown for that?

Depends how much they are, do you have that figure?

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

The problem with selling an asset to bail out an annual deficit, if this is all that happens, is that the deficit will be back next year. So you will be in the same position, except that you no longer have that asset either. It will be better to sort out the underlying problem, and keep the...

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

The difference being that the Council already owned the land it was selling to fund the Ricoh, whereas SISU would have to buy the land and the try and sell it for more. I'm not convinced this buying and selling would generate much extra income above the original cost, especially as extra...

Why a new ground is the fair way forward

One slight problem that I can think of is that I seriously doubt SISU can afford to build a new stadium. Oh, and I also don't think they want to build one, even if it is plan A, or is it now plan B?

I surprised Fisher doesn't want a bigger ground as surely he would think it's better to have 25,000 at £5 than 18,000 at a higher price, as a few extra people might buy a pie, or maybe a pack of Minstrels.

    Nostalgia

I agree. I was working in a local bank in the late 80's early 90's, and City players would come in from time to time to do their business (I don't mean to do a poo), which gave me a great chance to look at their earnings. They were mostly on about £50k a year, I thought that was a lot at the...

Frankly that is ridiculous, but at the same time all fans must recognise that it is important for the new stadium, which has always been plan A, to be designed taking into account it's surroundings. I think all genuine fans will appreciate that we should not buy any land, or really look for any...

    This plan might work but......

Certainly running out of time for anything positive to happen, the negative stuff will probably be going on for a long time yet though.
