SISU are NOT an evil hedge fund

intent to buy, grow and exit these portfolio companies over a three to seven year period. So to summarise their work so far on this journey, they have done the 'buy' bit. When does the grow bit start?

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

You'll have gone crazy if you have to wait for this new stadium, 3 years minimum before you get to see it. Not that I believe they have any intention whatsoever in building it. There is no way they will create enough value to get their money back. This is the biggest, and the very reddest...

Would you support CCFC in a new stadium built by SISU?

Yep, just a few bits to sort out!!

    Colin the dog

No, because dogs have a finite life. Next question.

    Plans for new stadium revealed

    Have you seen some plans?
  7. Rusty Trombone

We should support the new stadium

Exactly, call their bluff. Every time they mention the stadium just say "oh, that's lovely, I can't wait to see it", then just get on with your day.

another damning article by 200% - worth a read

Depends what the costs were, and how much they were. A lot of money would be spent on the interest for the mortgage/loan, but I think I heard something somewhere about them getting a better deal, from the Council I think. So they may be more profitable now, they may even be in a position to...

another damning article by 200% - worth a read

There were various additional revenues that the club had rights to, including some parking, and food and beverages. Some they sold the rights to, as they ran out of money, and some they still had access to, but it doesn't suit SISU to mention all that.

    If city win FA CUP

I'll parade my bare arse around Broadgate if we win it.

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

Obviously Nick and Grendel are well equipped to fight their own corner on this, but you must realise that ticket prices will vary based on many factors, regardless of what competition it is. The FA mess around with the competition enough, so maybe you should divert some attention their way. I...

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

I know, just teasing Mr G. It makes perfect sense to reduce prices in the belief that overall income will benefit. I was surprised when the Crewe cup game was priced so low last year, I believe they would have sold just as many tickets at double the price. At the time I thought they were...

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

So I guess what you're saying is that SISU are so desperate for money that they cannot afford to reduce the prices to encourage more people to go?? Surely they know more people = more pie money.

Didn't Anne Lucas say that Christmas was the Council's deadline?

He said they don't want to, not that they won't. Same as when I don't want to pay for any dances in Club Heat, but somehow the persuasiveness of those tricky females leads to money being exchanged. Maybe these ladies should be invited to broker a deal between the Council and SISU.

    Lowest Ever Coventry City Attendance?

You also said.......... "So the quality if the ground is more important than the football club? Bizarre. If in Coventry I would watch the club in the memorial park with temporary facilities. If you support the club why wouldn't you?" Has someone stolen your keyboard? Have you been...

    Lowest Ever Coventry City Attendance?

Well that would also be pretty accurate, and that is the long term problem we face.

We've had 10 points deducted??? WTF why hasn't this been discussed before?

    Coventry Athletic

Most business plans are the spreadsheet version of keeping your fingers crossed. If I had my money managed by SISU I would be getting worried that they are out of their depth.

    Coventry Athletic

If someone on here stated all that, I think you'd be asking for some evidence. How long do you think they will fund the gap?

    Lowest Ever Coventry City Attendance?

It is odd that Labovitch calls this sort of arrangement a 'strange experiment', when there will be little change under SISU's plans.
