When an adult goes to a game they pay, say £18, when a child goes they may pay £5. Do you think this is fair? There is no difference in the seat being used.

In the year to 31.5 we spent £7m on staff, £6.5m on admin and operating costs, and £1.8m on interest. All this with an income of £6.6m, plus player sales of £1.6m. Incessant talk of whether the deal is £200k or £400k is a distraction from where our problems really are. This seems to be what...

Can you include player sales as FFP income? Also it appears that it's only player wages that count towards the cost/income ratio. The Accounts just published had wages at over 100% of Turnover, but I think this is all wages. I wonder if the League will publish the figures for each club.

I'd love to read the sympathetic views of Port Vale and Gillingham, just post the bits where they talk about the treatment dished out by the Council.

I would be unhappy if the costs you list were charged at a lower rate to a club other than ours, if the other club was having use of the ground on the same season long basis as we had.

Which particular ones do you have in mind?

Agreed it's all very presumptuous. Yes, I would expect them to charge different teams different amounts. I would expect them to charge more to whichever user was making the most money from using the ground.

Charging less is my view, you're confusing me with someone who decides on the real charges. Based on the ML interview last night would you believe everything, or anything, he said? There may well be some fixed match day costs, but it's rather irrelevant as I don't think the owners said 'we'll...

No. I don't expect that ACL would either. So to summarise, we don't know which would be cheaper, if it were to happen.

If so, I hope he isn't fleecing us with over inflated service charges, ML wouldn't like that.

It's cheaper?? I haven't seen any prices quoted, please can you share the info.

    Cov Shop

How is there a shop even in Coventry? The club have stated they can't work with the Council, presumably there are rates to pay. I guess the club own the shop.

There's still hope, last time I went to Colchester we were 1 down at half time and won 5:1.

It's possible, but if ACL needed to repay the loan they could get another one. They are in a better position now to prove to a new lender that repayments can be met, compared to the position they were in before.

Labovitch on BBC CWR at 6 tonight

The pause and then the flustered answer to the fixed asset question was pretty embarrassing. I don't necessarily expect him to know all the answers about the accounts, it's not his area of expertise I'm sure, but if he doesn't know he should just say "I don't know, but I'll find out". At least...

    A Question for The Accountants

The 0.2% is a guess at the moment though, so bear in mind before getting too carried away? Also the Council may have charged fees to ACL for arranging the loan in an attempt to back up any 'arms length' transactions. Have the Council argued they are separate to ACL, or is it just posters on...

    A Question for The Accountants

In a hypothetical situation where the companies are not linked in any way, then it doesn't appear to be a good deal for the company lending the money. Not enough return for the risk. Obviously you know this anyway. It was possible a few years ago to get a loan from a bank at a low rate and...

    ACL group accounts 2013

The JR is related to the Council, not ACL. If the Council lose then I guess the ACL Auditor is happy that ACL can obtain other funding, assuming the loan has to be paid back.

CCFC Accounts - Your questions answered

I think what's being said is that the administrator would be liable for rent/rates etc, so it's understandable he would want to leave, but I don't believe it's a specific requirement.

CCFC Accounts - Your questions answered

CCFC is worth the same as it's been for years, nothing. As a guess I would say ACL somewhere around £11m-£15m, but there are so many one off items in the accounts just presented, it is hard to estimate what the current position is.
