What is it with all this 'I've lost interest' & 'The club id dead to me' Crap?

I think Nick runs an excellent forum, and the abuse he sometimes has to contend with is unacceptable, particularly these last few posts. I imagine he doesn't want to close this thread as some people will use it against him, but I think this has gone off topic.

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

I think it's nice they were offering him a drink and somewhere to sit.

Unlikely to be true, unless everyone was useless at throwing.

I'm not sure the people that have been wanting answers to questions were the same ones he met in the pub. I doubt he turned up for a quick Q & A session. Papers put plenty of spin to satisfy their readers, so depends what's written. It may read 'Supporters manage restrain against the man who...

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

The Telegraph don't add many, if any, stories on a Sat evening or a Sunday.

    Brentford match thread

Brentford have taken 46 points from a possible 57 at home, it is not a disgrace to come away without any points. We are currently the 9th best team in the league. Sometimes managers do things differently to how we would. At this stage I believe Pressley is doing as good a job as anyone...

Sounds like he was being a patronising fool, he should hang his head in shame.

It wasn't mindless by the sounds of it, it appears it was thought about whilst he popped into the toilet. There's no evidence that this was fuelled by alcohol, there's many that would do this without having had a drink.

Do you want him to suffer the same fate as Thorn? You keep comparing the arguments to Thorn, I think Pressley is the best manager we could hope for at present.

No, and neither did I say you did. I guess you're just feeling guilty because you were thinking it?

Maybe the subs saved us from losing by more, we'll never know for sure. How many more games should Pressley be given before he's sacked?

    kcic t-shirts!

I like them, a good effort. I love the fact you can buy an Andy Thorn t-shirt, follow the link to the former players t shirts.

Indeed she would, maybe even a statue. I suppose then in some cases you would consider the activity of an owner, but I accept that people make their own minds up when and where they draw the line.

    This should be a sticky.

Prior to the move to Northampton I would have agreed, but Fisher et al have come out with so much rubbish since, that I very much doubt I'll be so unconcerned about who our owners are in the future.

He certainly helped us enjoy the day.

You posted the other day about various dubious and scurrilous owners of clubs, I was assuming this meant you wouldn't help fund them. If you would fair enough, but if not, you must be drawing a moral line somewhere. Not trying to cause a row, just trying to understand your position.

A reason to carry on requesting ML's offer of a finance forum is that it will force them to answer many things that they have been vague about. This would also help prove, or not, that there have been many lies told. Ultimately the forum would not make any difference to the outcome of the...

    Best opposition player you've seen

It's a shame the people that Gascoigne surrounded himself with didn't look after him. I remember a game where he was less effective and when he elbowed Lloyd McGrath in the head, he was the one who went off with a fractured elbow. Good old Lloyd. Gascoigne also broke his arm whilst smashing...

If it was this game.. http://www.11v11.com/matches/coventry-city-v-tottenham-hotspur-31-december-1994-21942/ ...then looking at our team it makes you wonder how we got away with only losing by 4.
