With how this market have been, that wouldn’t be worth the risk, injured or not. We definitely need someone in that role with experience.

CM absolutely needs to be a top priority. We ask a lot of the 2 CMs in our system and you need bodies to keep Sheaf and Hamer fresh. Kelly always has a spell on the sidelines and we need an experienced player in there. Eccles is a good talent and throwing him in at the deep end could probably...

100-150k would be an absolute steal for us. Last year of his contract and he’s at least 4th choice at CM and CAM. We’ll let him go for free when we’ve got someone lined up I imagine. He was instrumental in our promotion season and I quite like him. But, didn’t have much output nor impact last...

There’s obviously a process in identifying players, we’re clearly not just winging it. He played against Man U both times in Sheffield Utd’s first premiership season and from their accounts, handled himself well. All this talk about Walton from some people, he played 2 games last season.

It’s a risk to you because you (and other laymen including myself) know next to nothing about the player. Whereas MR and his recruitment team have done their research.

The problem with judging things on preseason, it’s not representative of a competitive match. Let’s not forget that preseason reports were favourable to Kastaneer when he arrived. Bakayoko looked good preseason, yet didn’t even look like scoring in competitive matches last season. Has Robins...

You're panicking, have a little patience! GK hasn't got worse as Wilson was generally our first choice last season, and if Moore disappoints, it's back to square 1. As for the defence, we've yet to finish our recruitment yet so we don't really know what the outlook is like there. I don't think...

Our PPG without Kelly was below Wycombe’s so we definitely need a strong CM option there in his absence. I like Sheaf and Hamer individually but think they both need a good leader lining up next to them. I’m liking our attacking options, the one area we’ve definitely improved on. Walker and...

    Ticket prices

Every year, our fans have moaned about ticket prices and every year our season ticket prices are some of the best value in our league. There’s also inflation to consider too - it has a small impact.

Goes to show how much you know about rugby. If it’s not your cup of tea, fair enough. Australia, New Zealand and South Africa get to play this tour once every 12 years - it’s a special honour for both teams involved.

    Transfer Rumour Rocky Bushiri

I didn’t get that vibe, sounds like we’re taking a look at him. Reading between the lines, if were to sign him on loan it would be a similar to Sheaf’s deal. If this player is 21, doesn’t really look like getting anywhere near getting into Norwich’s squad... they’ll be looking to offload him...

Not necessarily, we had 6 loans at its peak last season. Realistically, we were always going to have at least 2 loan players, and ideally you want loanees to be starting quality. Recruitment undoubtedly has been difficult this off-season but I’m fairly confident we’ve done alright.

Reading that, it does sound like his ‘long term target’ would be Osti. It also reads like Brighton want him to sign a long term deal before loaning him out. The Athletic reporter for BHA seemed to think that was our ‘most likely outcome’ if we were to sign Osti. From MR’s comments he views...

If it makes anyone feel better, Man U lost 4-2 to QPR today. Didn’t do much against Derby either. Just another reminder to everyone not to worry too much about preseason and we don’t need two XIs as good as one another.

He got McGoldrick scoring for us too. With the exception of Callum Wilson (whom he probably would’ve released had he stayed), he’s managed all our best strikers in the 2010s. ‘Not a strong track record’

If it’s 3 signings, I’d guess a LWB, CB and a CM. As for the 4th signing, at a guess, I could see us signing either a CAM or a more experienced centre back to eventually replace McFadz. Long term, we need to move on from Kelly and McFadz despite them being instrumental last season. There’s a...

Yes, it’s been reported we’re signing 3 more players and two of which will be loans. Robins says he wants 4 new signings.

We probably won’t sign two left wing backs.

We have 3, maybe 4 (max), signings left and you’d spend 2 of those on LWBs? Don’t quit your day job.

We’ve been linked to Walsh and James and our good friend @better days has confirmed we looked at these two players. Therefore, we’re definitely looking to strengthen that area but, we haven’t signed anyone in that position, yet. It’s area of the pitch we absolutely need more experience in...
