Ask the teams that already share, they seem to cope.

CCFC can still have the Higgs 50% share ???

They have bought 50% of ACL, ACL owe the money, whoever holds the other 50% shares the debt, currently this is still Higgs.

It is a good deal, and the club should have tried to be a part of it. I disagree that the only difference between freehold and leasehold is the inability to sell the stadium.

You'll have to direct detailed questions to the clubs owners as they are the ones seeing a big issue in not obtaining the freehold. They see a major difference between freehold and leasehold. It's not just the building it's also the land, the asset is protected by not selling the freehold.

Well there are differences between freehold and leasehold, and these differences were enough for SISU not to be interested in buying into ACL before. Once the term of the leasehold goes beyond the life of the building they may as well quote any number of years.

CCFC can still have the Higgs 50% share ???

Exactly, with loads of extra income, train line being built bringing more people in. ACL will make a fortune with the Rugby and the football there.

Yep, sounds right. It's a great deal being offered, hard to believe isn't it.

WASPS press conference from the Ricoh at 10am

The existing contract agreed by the club and ACL will have to be honoured, so whatever the club were happy with before will continue. If the club want to stay longer they will have to renegotiate, but the latest statements say they want to move then, so there's no worries.

No, it's just more unnecessary drama being created.

Well if you're saying that a deal where you pay rent but don't get any income is restrictive, then I'm in agreement. But a deal where you're renting does not in itself represent a bad deal with little or no hope. The main way to achieve the demise of the club is to build and finance a new stadium.

It's not dead though, the club (or rathers the clubs owners) can still buy the share. This is excellent news.

    higgs half still for sale

Thats just changing the lender from the bank to the Council, the debt was still owed by ACL, just repayable to someone else.

Force the club out?? It's the clubs owners that want to move out.

I think the BBC TV and CWR are getting confused, probably understandably.
