Football overall is a lot more boring.
How many good games do we see up the City each season? 2? 3?
Would say that about 70% + of the NFL games are a lot more exciting.
I sort of like ice hockey, but half the time can't see where the puck is
Love American Football, quite like baseball, but can't get into basketball at all.
Anyone else thinking that they're waiting until City win a couple of game so they can then justify giving it to Shaw?
;)
Maybe it was Shaw all along but the board know they'll be uproar if Shaw gets it while we lose and continue to not play well.
They said on Tuesday that it would probably be next week before a decision was made.
Don't care how long it takes as long as they make the right choice. Be stupid to rush. This decision could define our season and long term future.
The problem I see with Wise is his demands.
I would expect he would want the full backing of the board for transfers etc. Not so sure he will be able to cope with next to no budget.
He's just reading between the lines that there has been no approach or interaction between CCFC and Oxford United.
Think the league rules are that a club has to make an official approach to a club whose manager is under contract.
That's only half the story though isn't it. We don't know if this lad was being a bit of a pest or not and it was Saturday night not straight after the game and maybe Kilbane was busy.
Said earlier, a player plays badly and then people boo. When they boo he plays worse. This is then detrimental to the team.
And here's me thinking these people would want their team to do well.
Silly me.
