Can we play the North every week? At home?

We've beaten Derby, Forest, Leeds, Barnsley & MBoro at the Arena. So, Championship teams, are you North of Cov? Coming to the Arena? Chances are we just might beat you! :claping hands: We would be decent in a Championship Northern League. ;)

    Thorn

"I thought that was one of our more solid performances. It was a massive game for us and it was just important to keep doing what we were doing." "We kept our discipline and we got our rewards for that. This could be a season-changing game for us. I just wanted to see it over the line and...

    Platt

Good, honest pro. Expresses himself well and if we did go down, his lower league experience would be vital as one of the senior players at the club. I don't understand some of the stick he gets to be honest. He may not score many but that's because he's busy bringing other players into play.

They gave us Eastwood, maybe we should give them Thorn

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/23/wolves-dave-jones-manager Bet they're still laughing their dogheads off after we gave them £1.2 million for Eastwood. Perhaps 'Agent Thorn' should be dispatched to them to say 'thanks' while scouting their best players for us. ;)

If portsmouth where to fold - which is very possible

Forget Pompey, if we can't win even ONE game away from home (currently the only team in England yet to do so), then we deserve to go down.

    FATNESS v FITNESS - confusing

Come again? Surely players have a responsibility to report back to pre-season training with reasonable fitness. Its not the management's fault if they come back after piling on the pounds over the summer. In any other job, Mr. Eastwood would have had his contract terminated long before now.

How big does a squad need to be?

Subs for Forest: 21 Smith 33 Lynch 14 Greening 23 Blackstock 24 Findley Subs for City: 13 Dunn 37 Willis 07 Bell 32 Thomas 10 Eastwood Says it all really. Not for the first time this season, we...

"an unnamed player at Fratton Park is earning in excess of £30,000 a week."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17089723  Pompey should be relegated. End of. Most of City's financial problems are of their own doing, but still, for better or worse, were trying to cut costs (SISU have gone too far for my liking) while paying the bills and tax too.

    Barnsley (H), Leicester (A), Palace (H), Brum (H), Watford (A), Cardiff (A)

Not when every other team in the bottom 4 have at least 1 game in hand. Donny, Pompey and Forest will pick up points at some point, especially if they're playing us away from the Arena, just ask Forest - today was their 2nd win from the last 14 games.

Why did anyone predict anything but a City defeat?

I didn't want to 'like' your post, but..... :(

    Barnsley (H), Leicester (A), Palace (H), Brum (H), Watford (A), Cardiff (A)

Didn't we have a winless-away season under MA? Somehow, our home form was so great we finished 8th that season. 8th. I'll take 18th place right now.

Obviously we will be better second half!

.......still waiting for that to happen.

    Barnsley (H), Leicester (A), Palace (H), Brum (H), Watford (A), Cardiff (A)

Anyone see us getting anything from Leicester, Watford and Cardiff? ..........Nope, me neither. Barnsley, Palace and Brum are no mugs either, even at home. :thinking about:

Macca: "I have waited two years for that and it was great to get the opportunity."

http://www.ccfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10269~2611353,00.html "I'm delighted. First and foremost, the win was the main thing as it just looked as though it was going to be a draw. But we kept pushing and pushing, never giving up. "Alex (Nimely) produced another piece of magic once again to...

    Thorn Speaks

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7522344/ "He led by example, Gary McSheffrey," said Thorn. "I thought he was exceptional, showed real character and leadership qualities. "I didn't see either of them (the penalties), I was just looking at our supporters, but I am just pleased...
