Thorn Talk (after victory at Hull)

"It was a great day for everybody and the confidence of getting that result could prove massive. We were calm and in control, showing an education that has been this season." "If you put in the hard work and endeavour that the boys have put in, you always get what you want. We kept going and...

    Well Done SISU

They cheated. Not for the 1st time, they had a unfair financial advantage over the rest of the league and they deserve their punishment. Teams like City actually make an attempt to pay the Tax bill. As for SISU, they deserve no credit. There's cutting costs and then there's taking the piss...

Thorn Talk (after victory at Hull)

"I thought it was a 'growing-up' performance'." Nail on head. The players have grown up. The Manager has wised-up. I'm more hopeful now that City will stay up.

Thorn Talk (after victory at Hull)

"It has been a long time coming, but it feels like a weight has been lifted off us," Thorn said, after his team extended their unbeaten run to six matches. "If you look at how far adrift we were at one stage, it's an amazing achievement to be where we are now." "We just want to kick on now...

It has to be said ...

Yep, we still have a lot of hard work to do. For the 1st time since I can remember, its in our own hands now. 6 games unbeaten, great run and great victory today but, in context all we've done is given ourselves a chance - a real chance - of avoiding relegation. Look at Pompey - gave themselves...

It has to be said ...

Fook NO! :o Thorn sure knows how to end a season. Compare that to Coleman - only ONE win from the final 10 games from 2 seasons running.

    MacDonald

RT @HullCityLive: Two nil. Mcdonald. Cracking finish. All from McLean tackling Fryatt. :D Worth every. Bloody. Penny. Even when he wasn't fully fit, he had chances at Ipswich and was unlucky not to score. There's more goals to come from this guy, I'm sure.

Does platt deserve a new contract?

Sure, he's had off days but less than the majority of his team-mates this season. As a senior player, he sets a fine example to the younger players. Performs well on the pitch. Sets a good example on and off it. Talks a LOT of sense when dealing with the press. Well worth another year...

    im scared

Wuss! :) Is this your 1st relegation battle as a City fan? I bet most of us are hardened battle veterans by now, laughing in the face of imminent relegation, showing our battle scars (white hair from stress) with pride, confident that, by hook or crook, the City will claw their way out of the...

£12 million spent and they can only beat one team in the bottom six? (erm, us :(). Crap return for that money.

    Tonight's games

Pompey were always gonna go for it tonight, especially after Saturday. Their manager was looking for a reaction tonight and so far, he's got it.
