Trust calls on Coventry City FC owners Sisu to sell-up and leave

Would you prefer it if I said dying then? How about nearly dead?

Oh good. Everything is hunky dory then.

The biggest story out of this is only 21% of members could be arsed to vote. Can't help but think the club is dead.

    Les Reid prefers GMK

But at the minute these aren't facts, they are allegations. There is a massive difference. Les Reid's articles have a tendency to make some pretty explosive allegations within the headline, then when you read the actual story there is nothing in it.

    Trust email

Your probably right with that. One game wont make any significant effect to the finances, and I am not sure it would grab the headlines the same way as if we were still in Northampton (national media have lost interest in us now). Long term low attendances are happening anyway without the need...

Yes I think that's reasonable. However when you look at the club without any emotion involved, only two scenarios can improve the current situation. Either a massive cash injection, or completely starting again and building the club up from scratch. At the minute we just seem to be hoping...

All of us want sisu out apparently so then it just comes down to the method. Some people see getting rid of them, at all costs, gives the club the best chance of survival. Those people want Sisu out because its best for the club, not because they hate sisu, which was the original point. Also I...

I certainly think its something worth looking at, don't you? Or do you think we should have a closed mind on such matters?

Then we're into an individuals view on phoenix clubs. Some see them as the same club. I certainly see the current Wimbledon as the same club that won the cup.

The business or the club? Two very different things remember, as the business has already been wound up by our glorious owners once before.

If we lose at home to Rochdale .......

I'm sorry but you clearly demonstrate the loser mentality that has affected this club for the last 40 years. The "oh well it will be better next year" attitude is what has held this club back for so long. You should be demanding change, and you should be demanding it now. Instead you just keep...

If we lose at home to Rochdale .......

What then? Well this: We will at best be 6 points off relegation to the 4th tier, in the lowly position of 16th if results go our way, with most teams below us having a game in hand. So yes you're right. A win tomorrow and everything is wonderful with our club.

You agree with appealing court cases now then?

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

The situation you are describing there though, would be that your house was responsible for the mortgage (if that were possible), you are just the owner of the house.

Back in court - July 7

I am not particularly in favour of any sort of organised Nopm campaign this time. It will be unnecessarily divisive with very little benefit. Crowds are plummeting anyway now (season ticket renewals will be non existent IMO), so ticket revenue will be very small, without any of the bitterness...

Back in court - July 7

In fairness there was a thread on here a few weeks ago where the majority were saying it was wrong to appeal against the decision of a court.
