    Stadium Forum Meeting

All good points. With the benefit of hindsight... the club has probably already lost more or close to what they could have paid to Higgs for half of ACL. I guess that is more depressing than anything else - this entire situation need not have happened but for the stupidity of some suits...

    Stadium Forum Meeting

The club has stated time and again that they need access to all the revenue streams... whether or not I truly believe this or not is another issue but as soon as ACL make an offer that includes access to all the revenue streams then the club will have no option but to get round the table, or...

    nuneaton say no

Title of thread is incorrect, however this post is exactly what we should be ramming down the neck of TF + ML... time to cut with the bs and come clean.

    Bedworth?

Yes as long as we are talking the Coventry side, not Nuneaton side...

    Stadium Forum Meeting

If ACL really can turn a profit without needing to have the stadium in use, then surely there is a deal to be done that allows for use of the stadium and access to all F+B & other revenues? i.e. splitting the Ricoh into stadium and arena. I mean the car park is not making money if not in use...

    where's the ct release ?

To be honest I am a bit unimpressed with the CET article. There is absolutely no evidence that it is a genuine site...no land sold STC etc. All we have is a fairly high probability that the club are talking to N&BBC. Of course the club are not going to comment - there is a stadium forum today...

    Bedworth?

I don't get it to be honest. Of course we all want to return to Ricoh. Of course in an ideal world if a stadium is built it should be inside Coventry. The reality is that CCC will not allow that. Given the above I doubt there are few sites closer to Coventry without actually being in...

What if short term it was a ground/shed for CCFC with a longer term plan to sell it to NTFC after eventually getting Ricoh...

For example http://www.leamingtonspatowncouncil.gov.uk/Your-Council.aspx as a smaller part of Warwick?

Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no.

Okay, I went off on a tangent and lost my train of thought... so Local Authority is the same as council... and the Trust wrote to 7 councils: 1. Coventry City - no such discussions 2. Solihull – no such discussions 3. Hinckley and Bosworth – no such discussions 4. North Warwickshire – no such...

Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no.

Stadium has to be no further away from Cov City Centre than Ricoh, give or take a mile or two... if they are looking at Hinkley... well ... lets just hope it it N+B in a site off A444 somewhere...

Trust: 6 Local Authorities say no discussions. Rugby say no.

So this means that either.... 1) Sisu have lied 2) If N&B is one council then they are looking further afield than councils bordering Coventry (for example Hinkley etc) -- time for more FOI requests?? 3) Councils have lied about their FOI responses, or have made mistakes... I guess more...

Is there a difference between council and local authority? Sorry to be a numpty, just wondering if a council is made up by several LAs?

Cov Vs Arsenal on the friday Night - 24 Jan

Thanks...I am with you now. I guess bottom line ITV wanted the Chelsea game (I am guessing they got first choice) and BT chose us...tbh I'd prefer Friday over Sunday, but each to their own I guess....

Cov Vs Arsenal on the friday Night - 24 Jan

It's obvious that both clubs wanted the Friday game to maximise rest for the following games. Cov play Orient on Tuesday, Arsenal play Southampton on Tuesday.

Cov Vs Arsenal on the friday Night - 24 Jan

London Midland takes 1hr 40 mins. 3pm Cov-Euston £6. 4pm train for £8.50. 5pm train £15, but might be tight on time especially if delayed. Virgin trains are quicker but stupid money really (£45 single). My advice is if you planning on using the trains, book up quick before either the seats...

Cov Vs Arsenal on the friday Night - 24 Jan

For those that don't want to drive, London > Coventry train ticket is still £7.50 for 2230 and last train at 23:30. Takes 1hr 40mins... I expect it will fill up pretty quickly. Trains into London vary with price but you can get a London Midland train for a very reasonable amount...I will be...
