What difference would it make to sell him for peanuts when the alternative is a possibility of playoffs. Sisue certainly are not going to make any money from staying in L1 in the short term so a push for playoffs has to be the target.
So ... unless there is a replacement lined up, I cannot see...
This figure that ML & TF float around is very misleading. This is the paper value of ACL which has an approx 40yr lease. ACL mortgage is 14m and hence why Sisu were trying to get it on the cheap and why we are in this mess.
The bricks and mortar of the Ricoh are effectively part of the...
How much of that debt was in Ltd before they bought Ltd for 1.5m? Obviously the 1.5m will be added to the overall debt, but the losses in Ltd are liquidated at approx 0.5 pence in the pound I believe?
The paper debt is currently 60m? I know there were plans to write off 32m if the CVA was accepted but with the liquidation I am not entirely sure what that does to the paper debt. The asset (golden share, player contracts, club name/rights) is worth perhaps 5m currently and that is probably a...
There are lots of councils that have peppercorn rent arrangements with their football clubs as they understand the economic benefits that the club brings to the city.
I don't endorse giving the freehold for nothing, but a cheap, long term lease with no access to Arena/Hotel side of things...
The "debt" only becomes an issue when the club is break even.... but even I think that dream is pie in the sky for the foreseeable future. If Sisu ever get the club to break even, then they will probably have an asset that is worth selling to someone.
We live in hope....
My personal thoughts are that if the Ricoh hold out then they have no option but to build a stadium. I don't see any other options.
Plan A: Eventually get Ricoh by one of various means. JR&discount. Buying ACL. Buying freehold. 99yr lease etc.
Plan B: Build a shed 10-12k in N&BBC with...
It is investment debt rather than loans though... no bank etc would in their right mind loan ccfc any money and rightly so! Now if we were having to service our debt through interest payments then I would be very worried, but the debt of the club is honestly the least of my concerns.
Granted...
Oh me too... just saying, that 11 miles away and it is a council that has not been sent an FOI... "ML we need to get back to Coventry.... (by staying in Northampton)"
I imagine TF is having a good day "Fuck Joy, they are on to us, what BS can we spin to cover this one up..."
That image wasn't quite as large as I had hoped... the boundaries can be viewed here:

I've got a bad feeling about this...
M6/M1 interchange is under 15 miles as the crow flies... or bottom end of M45 near Dunchurch is approx 11 miles away. Both those areas come under Northampton.... did anyone FOI Northampton?
The date for the open CCFC Stadium Forum is set for later this month
The second meeting to help shape Coventry City’s new stadium will take place later this month.
The CCFC Stadium Forum has been set-up to ensure the club’s tradition...
Given the recent FOI requests etc, I took the time to transcribe the content of this interview (incase the club / sky get it removed).
So the million dollar question is... if there is a second council involved (I don't consider Rugby to be the 2nd personally) then where exactly is this second...
Indeed. So if ACL are doing "fine" or breaking even... and they & CCC will not sell... what is the plan because Sisu must be hemorrhaging £ at the moment... I guess a stadium is the only option that gives any plausible long term value to their "asset".
