CET: Robinson liable for 250k of Ricoh rent

If the CET actually has a copy of the leaked report, I wonder if they are going to drip feed bits of it out over the next few days because the Robinson bit, while an interesting line, does seem a bit of a sideshow to the bigger issue which was only really focused on in the section quoted above.

    The Pitch - Image

I was trying to find a video clip of December's goal of the month competition for 1995 because I suspect one our goals from this game qualified and that would tell me if I was right. But I could only find this MOTD Goal of the Season highlights from the year before. Thought I'd post it though as...

I recall us singing Twist and Shout non-stop for about 20 minutes at Portman Road one year and watching the players clearly gaining energy from the incessant noise - and they repaid us with a goal!

Didn't we once beat Blackburn 5-0 on a pitch that looked a bit like that?

In other words ACL maybe couldn't afford to offer a rent deal lower than £400,000 before?

Swiss, I wasn't being critical of you (if that was in response to me). I appreciate reasoned analysis.

CET: Robinson liable for 250k of Ricoh rent

So all those arguing ACL can't survive without CCFC should, to be consistent, also be arguing that CCFC should be paying far more than League 1 average rent then? Because 2.4% seems pretty small number to be making such a big different to ACL's viability.

I wonder who the other person is that could be liable for £250,000. McGinnity?

All you Clarke doubters ha ha ha

You're forgetting SBT, who has also replied to this thread on SBT in which SBT has engaged in the discussion about how Clarke is not an SBT but an ST, though not a DM or ST, and in which the existence of the SBT has also been mentioned.

All you Clarke doubters ha ha ha

Otis was saying Clarke was an ST(riker). I was saying it was good he wasn't an SBT or it would get even more confusing. It's like Have I Got News for You's odd one out round. All the others are SBTs (Taylor, Trust and Talk) but Clarke was the odd one out as he is only an ST. ;)

From what you say it sounds like they've got complacent. Maybe the patents expiring will force them back into research (or into buying up the smaller research-led companies). Can you not try for one of those smaller companies? Or use your chemical knowledge to come up with your own great...

I've got a pair too. They're great (if a little thin for really cold weather) but it is oh so easy to hit the wrong letter with them on small touch screens.

I was just thinking that too. Our first since November 17! I was saying earlier in the week how tightening up at the back would help.

Points Needed For A Top 6 Finish Over The Last 8 Years

I hope we keep scoring. Points are crucial, and taking 3 points from the division leaders is great, but it's so tight up there that this could come down to goal difference too. We're currently on +10, which thankfully is equal to or within touching distance of most of our likely rivals. The...

You're right, but to be fair to CovisGod he is making a factual statement. We are, as the table stands, 3 points off 6th. He didn't say we're going to win the league.
