    What do we know?

That probably rules out scenario 7 then. I could imagine Sisu "selling" Mark Robins for, say, £500,000 but I doubt even they would be stupid enough to "sell" their best asset for something like £50,000.

    What do we know?

Otis, I agree. I'm going to wait and see what is said before reaching any conclusions - though one of those darn confidentiality agreements could yet come into play... Brisbane - thanks!

    What do we know?

What we know: *Mark Robins generally performed well as Coventry's manager. *He was five months into a three-year contract. *He knew the financial constraints on City when he moved here. *Robins is from Lancashire and has managed two Yorkshire clubs before. *Robins resigned as...

    Robins linked again

Of course it might just be a Sisu negotiating tactic. Huddersfield may have been asking to speak to him without paying all or part of the six-figure sum - by saying 'No' that would force Huddersfield to cough up or forget it. Yes, the decision ultimately rests with Robins but Sisu do have a...

If MR goes, who do want in?

On a Huddersfield forum most of them are not best pleased at the thought of Robins coming but are happy to see the back of Grayson!

Interesting line: "City*will be unable to stop their boss leaving if Huddersfield stump up the six-figure compensation." Is it a get-out clause written in his contract?

The Mirror story suggested a "six-figure" compensation, but given the only version of the story to contain a quote was the following lame effort in the Sun I'm taking it all with a pinch of salt at the minute*: 'Town caretaker boss Mark Lillis admitted: “The main thing for us is staying in the...

    Burger Stand in block 15/16

Sorry to jump in here and I don't mean to be a nag, but some of you are trying to 'shoe' in too many puns. Take it at a canter, not a gallop! And shouldn't we be focusing on The Derby game against Walsall on April 1? :p

    Season Over?

The season is not over yet. We would probably need about 30 more points if we're to make the play-offs. There are 42 points left to play for. That allows a couple more defeats and 3 draws. Defeat today was not terminal, but it does reduce the scope for further slip ups this season.

    Mark Robins 16th best overall

He's ahead of Di Canio Wingy, but behind Howe and Flynn/ Saunders. Interestingly Saunders has two entries, at 11 and 119, and Howe has two too at 2 and 88, which does suggest that some managers work at some clubs and don't work at others (though in Saunders case it is still very early to judge...

    Crewe fan scared to death...

I'm not saying it will happen, but I do think we are capable of grabbing 3 at Gresty Road. However, I fear we will let in 1 as we nearly always concede. So the question is: Can we get 4? And thanks for your views SimonCAFC - interesting reading.

Well done to the Ravens, a good win. But the 49ers deserve credit for coming back and making a close game towards the end.
