    The timing is amazing

Yes, if somebody were able to buy the club and half the stadium and secure income streams from the surrounding areas by investing in hotels, retail shops etc ... then there would be no need for a reduced rent. But how long will it take to get there? And in the mean time the club is restricted by...

    The timing is amazing

On the day when sisu are to meet with ACL to negotiate a rent reduction, Hoffmans group release the great news, that he is still working on taking over the club and part of the stadium. To add validity he is now working with an expert and focusing on chinese investors. Well, that's all very...

SISU supporters like to push the Liquidation myth....

I don't think this has anything to do with Keys being a supporter or not. He was the first to put the word out in public, but how he heard it himself is everybodys guess. It could be that he was told by someone who either himself was told or directly overheard a talk between sisu and ACL about...

SISU supporters like to push the Liquidation myth....

Looking at all the financial experts they have draftet in as directors over the last year suggests that they have tried hard to find investors. In a sense the club have been put up for sale for quite some time. If any investor showed the slightest interest I would think negotiations were well...

SISU supporters like to push the Liquidation myth....

Jimmy, if you're an account you know all about costs. In administration the costs will continue to add to the externaly owed debts. Sisu's funds will get nothing, even if a new owner is found. In liquidation the costs will be much lower, and sisu may recoup a few pounds.

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

Wow - you must be having some interesting talks with yourself at times: - Your income is below budget! - Yes, but the crisis you know, the clients are going out of business. - The crisis was here when you did the budget, surely you must have know some clients would fail. - Yes, I did, but I said...

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

In the situation the club finds itself even £1 gained is an important step towards survival. The player wages will be much lower next season - if not dictated by the clubs finances, then by the FFP.

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

Yes, I run a business and you make your living auditing business like mine. So we are kinda cultured to see things differently :D I don't think the club is losing £4m atm. The next set of published accounts (when they get published) may show £4m, but since then cost have come down further...

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

I can fully understand the need and desire to play the blame game, to look backwards and point to errors and failures. But what progress will it bring? How will that stand the club in better shape? There are no credible alternative to sisu, and they have run out of money and can't continue to...

One Step Forward 3 back TYPICAL!

I don't think you are being fair to TF. Nowhere does he say he wants the rent down to Ipswich level. It may be a reasonable number, but so could £250t or £25t. As I have said a few times now, I think the figure should be variable and reflected by the number of attendants, what league we're in...

All very good and probably historical correct, but when everybody has been assured and reassured that all errors were made in the past and whats been done and what the consequences were ... we still are were we are. Leave the past to the auditors and historians and lets look to the future...

This is from FAQ-3: [/COLOR] It's important so see the priority in their original plan, as the initial investment plan have most likely been made to match that. So when income failed through the declaining numbers through the gates, then priority number one was never met. I blame Ranson for...

Actually it no news. It's the manager who says he want to keep Cranie - not the board telling AT there are money to keep him.

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

If you read the full paragraph it says: 'However, we also have a responsibility to the fans, to the city, and to our own investors to ensure that any interest we receive is genuine, that the potential investors do have the necessary funds, and that any new ownership would in fact meet the...

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

Yes I do seriously believe that someone is ready to pay for shares in the club. Especially if the revenue goes towards player purchase. The old shares are history and claiming them will not help the club. And it's not about bailing sisu out - it's about helping the club to survive.

Ah the JOY of it.......Joy Seppalla talks

Comments in red above. Let me add: I believe she's telling the truth as she see's it, but that is not necessarily the whole truth. The fans wanted better communication from sisu, and she has responded positively. It even looks like she has been browsing this forum and found that 'we want to...

HateFottball, OSB, Hedge funds - Their objective is to make money. How does that make them any different than other investors? The difference I see is Hedge Funds are specialized in making money from debt ridden and almost out-of-business companies, whereas 'normal' investors make money from...
