Thorn will be sacked today surely?

Agree with you in terms of the Clingan thing for sure. If Brighton identified it then you would think his own manager would to wouldn't you.

Thorn will be sacked today surely?

People have been saying Sisu out all season long and continue to do so. As the performances have got worse people quite rightly have begun to question the manager. The Sisu out calls still persist. Don't see your point. For Sisu it has always been a case of 'want out,' with Thorn people gave...

Thorn will be sacked today surely?

But besides this I would point out these facts; 1. Haven't seen a a single poster on here say Thorn hasn't made any mistakes. 2. The players are also making lots of mistakes and many of those are beyond AT's control. But how come anytime anyone makes any criticism of Thorn whatsoever the only...

Says who? :thinking about: What a weird reply. Players are making mistakes. The manager is making mistakes.

Thorn will be sacked today surely?

Get wearied by all this now. There are however absolutely signs that Thorn is a good manager. We expected a relegation battle, we are however even worse off than that with a 2nd from bottom position and our being 7 points adrift. Don't recall anyone on here saying they were expecting us to be...

    Prediction for tomorrow

Come back from two nil down!! That's got to be the funniest thing I've heard in an age. :D:D:D:D:claping hands::claping hands::claping hands: Just how sarcastic can you get. :D I do think we might just sneak it though. We desperately need the 3 points, but even a draw I would be well happy with.

Statistically, is this close to City's worst run ever?

AT is saying we haven't been trounced by anyone yet (would beg to differ in terms of Ipswich), but the obvious reason for this is that we have the ball half the time and therefore the opposition can't score. Doesn't do us any good whatsoever though cos when we've got it we do fook all with it.

    Next win/points.

Did think we were going to beat Brighton. Thought it was the perfect time to play them. This is also probably the perfect time to play Portsmouth. Let's hope we put a bit more effort than we did last week.

Sorry to start another Thorn thread ....

"The Sky Blues have been praised in sections of football for playing the game 'the right way' but have been unlucky recently regarding results." I'm sure we're getting lots of praise for the way we play from sections in football. Their football teams keep taking points off us."

Why we should get behind Thorn

Can understand that stance. Not convinced they won't though. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they sacked AT and moved Carsley up to the helm.

Why we should get behind Thorn

Hallelujah!! Same hymn sheet. This was the conversation I was trying to have today but it fell on deaf ears. Indeed you do not need quality to chase and harry the opposition. That was my very point. People keep banging on about lack of quality and I was talking about basic football traits...

Why we should get behind Thorn

No, I'm pretty sure that because he's a nice guy and doing the best that he can possibly do you are not allowed to critisise him. It's a law.

Not unless he promotes Carsely into an assistant managing sort of role. Any help is only going to come from within I think. Unless they get someone like Sillet or Gould to try and assist in some way.

It would certainly help for sure. We do have pace in the squad, just not enough of it. Would say Christie and Hussey are pretty quick, Bigi and Thomas too and McDonald is known for his pace. Pity we haven't had chance to see it yet. Haven't seen Gardner yet so cannot comment.

We upped the tempo against West Ham and it was our best performance of the season.
