    I agree with Ian

Yep, had CWR on while watching the game. There was fluidity for sure but at times we definitely played with a front 3 and that's as the CWR team called it too.

Better tell Eakin and Linnell and Whelan then.

Steve Staunton at the game today

Maybe as he's Irish he was still scouting Kieran Westwood.

Never in a front 3? Different game to me then and Clive Eakin and Noel Whelan. At times it was very clearly a front 3. Both Eakin and Whelan alluded to this on a number of occasions. Shuff had a more free role but they lined up as a front 3.

    Juke going a potential godsend?

Yeah. Though Thorn got just about everything spot-on. The Deegan thing was the right decision and playing 3 up front I think caught Boro on the back foot. I too would have liked to see a further sub to counteract their 3. If nothing else, it gave their team 3 sets of fresh legs and helped them...

Think that is correct. Only 6 goals on our travels not only points to a lack of goals but a lack of chances created too. We have to do something about it. We need wins on our travels. Without we are down for sure.

    Keogh's attitude

Yep, focused on that too. He wasn't going to give up until he rectified that mistake and the determination was exactly what we needed. That must really help spur on his teammates. The crowd certainly appreciated it.

    Fat Freddie!

There was a lot of booing. About 50/50 I would say. Well from the Tesco stand anyway.

lanky gunnarson and a younger marlon king

Funnily enough, when Herman went to take the long throw in the second half I shouted out "Come on Gunnar, make it a long one!!"

    Juke going a potential godsend?

With Juke our shape was all over the place as he would be drifting out to the wings and leaving us bereft in the middle. Platt holds the line. We could do with another in the same mold.

:thinking about: Maybe a promotion push is still on!

    Fat Freddie!

Couldn't believe it when I heard it. Booing a player in a city shirt before he even gets a touch of the ball on the field is totally insane.

    I agree with Ian

and I never thought I'd hear myself say that ..... we should go with 3 up front for away games. We need points on our travels and being behind the points we are behind, losing by one goal or 3 isn't going to make that much difference. We have scored just 6 goals in 13 away games. This has to...

Who's been slating them then? Haven't noticed much grief at all about them on here myself. Some people questioned their arrival, but that is fine of course and is in no way slating anyone. Maybe I missed something?

    Juke going a potential godsend?

Really rate the bloke but what we had with him was what we had with Clinton Morrison, and that is him being all over the pitch, on the wings, chasing the ball and not being where we want him to be half the time, namely in and around the box. What you get with Platt is a more rigid structure of...

Didn't thing Clingon was that good today.

    Now we just need Hale

To go with the pace we've just acquired. Been screaming out for it all season long and now we've finally got it and look at how many more options that give us.
