    Acl back on cwr again

The lease plays a significant role and hold a value as long as the CVA is undecided. So to say ACL wanted a negotiation 'no strings attached' is false. The 'attached string' is the lease. Sisu want the current lease broken as that will remove its value from talks about a potential future at the...

    Acl back on cwr again

Oh ... where did I ever said they want nothing back??? They want to make a fortune out of their investment! They will have it all back ... and yet some! The group debt to sisu is already frightening, but as the club add a stadium to the books and actually start making a profit from the overall...

    Acl back on cwr again

That would be excellent! Do you think any negotiation to achieve that will be easier or more difficult if the lease is part of the negotiation? As long as it is 'alive' it has a value for ACL and subsequently a potential cost for the club.

No, sisu are taking a financial hit. I do not agree it is 'to spite ACL' - it's an investment in future profit from adding a stadium to the club.

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

I don't think there's anything in the FA/FL's rules and regulations that can be used to fail the F&P certifications. If there were, I think the pressure from the council, MP and even MEP, ACL and the fans would have achieved that by now.

    Acl back on cwr again

Sisu don't want it to be part of the negotiation. Without it ACL has nothing. They can either say: Ok, we sign the CVA and show willingness to start a fresh, or they can refuse the CVA and say 'Goodbye and good riddance'. If they don't sign, the club has definetely played the last game at the...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

If the owners are still the funds - I mean owning the shares in the club - then the owners are not up for a F&P test. That leaves the directors ... i.e. Fisher and he can be replaced. I don't think the F&P can lead to new owners, only more delays.

    Acl back on cwr again

I think they want to make sure the lease is dead and burried and not playing any part in potential future talks. Surely ACL expected that.

    Pretty much spot on.

    Acl back on cwr again

So, it's all about the CVA. The lease. They are both fighting hard for their cases ... it's nothing to do with 'care for the fans' but all to do with saving their businesses. Ball is still in ACL's corner - nothing will happen before they sign or reject the CVA.

ACL will only commit to the meeting while the CVA is on the table unsigned.

    Acl back on cwr again

FL has agreed to host a meeting between ACL and sisu. Joy said no, sign the CVA and we will consider.

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

I remember, and we did indeed get relegated. I jinxed it - it was all my fault. And here I go again, well statistically I should get this one right. Just to test my luck I tossed a coin 100 times predicting Heads every time. Result was Tail in 92 times, 8 times the coin was lost under the sofa...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

As I understand it Otium have only bought the assets and left the lease in Limited. Limited will be liquidated. The CVA most likely (I haven't seen the proposal) have a clause that ACL accept the lease is not transferred and stay in Limited, which will be liquidated. 'Coming out of...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

You don't trust the Trust? What if the person going through the books with Brookfield was OSB? Do you think he is unable to spot illegalities or sense if something was hidden from him?

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

It really would be NICE to know ... and my suggestion would have been to ask the club to have one member (with professionel background in accounting/auditing) of the Trust to go through the books with Steve Brookfield. But that would as a minimum require the Trust to come back to their own...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

You are building a scenario to fit your own conspiracy theory. Here's mine: I think the last set of accounts were not signed by sisu as the budget didn't balance and didn't provide a strategy for a future upside. They wouldn't sign unless the rent were reduced to a realistic level. On that...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

So what are you REALLY saying? You want to avoid the fate of the club being killed off by restricted FFP budget. You believe that will happen if we move to sixfields (btw you cannot know it will be 'at least' five years). So to avoid all of this you want an investigation to see if any proof of...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

Last set of accounts dates before the present board. Brookefield said Holdings and Limited have the same bank account - how do you without any reasonable doubt proove ticket money went dirctly to Limited? You can't. Ticket money apparently went to a bank account jointly owned by Limited and...

ACL on CWR after 9am this morning

Oh, I've been around a few failing companies - victims of the financial crisis. One of the companies I owned 20%, so I have some personal experience, even if only as a shareholder and board member. That is NOT the same as I claim to be an expert to insolvency laws or the administration proces...
