Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

Not what I remember, but I admit I am getting older and my short term memory is suffering.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

It depends by your definition of 'deserve'. What is it exactly we have done to deserve other owners? But leave that - it's a futile discussion. I do admit that we 'need' owners who can reunite club and stadium. If that is sisu I take them. If it is Hoffman, I'll even take him! Right now we are...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I don't believe that is accurate. I mean, they have said the funding of a new stadium would be by a combination of selling off land/leases to new businesses and a mortgage.

Let me point out again that the leaked documents have all been pre Fisher. They are not evidence that Fisher has lied or that player contracts have been moved from limited to holdings.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I see no way how the FL/FA can change or challenge the legal outcome of the administration proces. The club is a business - its not governed by democracy - its fueled by income. The abillity to purchase players and to compete in the leagues is based on money, not votes. We need to own all...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

That makes no sense at all. Why would they create a situation that is currently crippling the club. A situation they are paying a steep price to escape? I heard him at the forums 'skirting' around as you say, but to me it sounded more like they hadn't decided if they would place the stadium in...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I think you are right - ACL is more likely to be sold to the club under new owners. But if that doesn't change the club will never return to the Ricoh, but build a new stadium. How else can sisu secure their exit? So we fans need to either accept we're never returning to the Ricoh or put...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

The 'mess' was explained as I understand it: Over time administrative practice have changed. Before 1995 the players and the Golden Share were all in Holdings. When Limited was formed in 1995 the purpose was to hold players owned by third parties ... like Robbie Keane. When the club was...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

Or to ask they changed the registration of the GS to Holdings? Do we even know if they asked FL how to clear up the mess? But for the umpteens time ... Breaking the lease was most likely their main priority and I guess they have drawn on their legal expertise to make sure it happened inside...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I did say 'who knows'. I can't think of anyone else who had access to confidential documents and a desire to give ACL, NOPM, KCIC and what have you ammunition to support the quest to get rid of sisu? If you can line up more suspects I will be happy to add them to the list.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I can't see any grounds for starting the process over. Nothing that have come to public knowledge show any illegal actions. But it will be interesting to hear Appeltons final statement.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

But that's just it - the players were since 1995 or thereabout registered to Holdings according to FL archives, but until 2012 registered in Limited according to clubs accounts. So the indication is that Fisher is cleaning up the administrative mess (while at the same time isolating the lease...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

Oh, I have already said a few times that isolating the lease can easily have been the main priority - and that if I was in charge, I would have done the same. The club need to own all income streams from the stadium. Be it owning ACL or a brand new stadium - the club MUST own all income streams.

Just for fun,can you name these

Mikkel Bischoff - right back or center back? Did he play two games before being injured and never played for the club again?

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

Yes - Fisher have said that FL had the players registered in Holdings and the club had till he started clearing the mess the players registered in Limited.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

I am confused now ... that is exactly what Fisher has said all along. FL admitting this is their error actually suppoted sisu's case in the administration proces. That error is why nobody but sisu would buy Limited. Without the players Limited was worthless. Or what have I missed????

To be legal and inline with Fishers claims it must be post june 2012. New players employed from July 2012 may be registered in Holdings if my assumption is correct.
