The war is over, time for the peace treaty

Godiva (original): In the coming months we will most likely see and hear very little from the club owners - as usual. But at the stadium side I expect quite a lot of activity. The stadium owners can surely not be happy with the outcome of this last battle with the club. They backed ACL's plan...

    What/Who is "OSB"?

To be honest, I was initially tempted to post: OSB is short for British Society of Dyslexia - but I didn't think many would see the humor, and it is more fun 'spoken' than 'written'. In any case - I wasn't referring to OldSkyBlue58.

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

Not strictly true, is it? ACL emptied the escrow account for £500k and then got £530k from the administration. In addition they took the amount available on the clubs bank account at a given date - with the blessing of the court.

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

My original text in black NorthernWisdoms comments in blue My response in red It's been a long battle and the collateral losses are unbelievable. Inarguable. It started with the mismanagement that lead to the club selling Highfield Road and then all stakes in the Ricoh Areana even before a...

New post: FOI responses expose Coventry City Football Club’s “new stadium plans”

The club should own ACL - not the Ricoh stadium in its bricks and mortars. Coventry City community should still own that. And the club shouldn't just be gifted ACL. The shares should be bought from CCc and Higgs. There has been much talk about an agreed HoT between sisu and CCc dating back...

    What/Who is "OSB"?

Oh, but I do like OldSkyeBlue58 - and I even respect him a lot. We did do the three FAQ's together a couple of years back - even if we disagree on a lot (most actually), we do it in a respectful way. The OP asked what/who is OSB ... I put in a suggestion of what OSB could be.

The war is over, time for the peace treaty

It's been a long battle and the collateral losses are unbelievable. It started with the mismanagement that lead to the club selling Highfield Road and then all stakes in the Ricoh Areana even before a ball was kicked in our state of the art stadium. From that point it was ever really going to...

New post: FOI responses expose Coventry City Football Club’s “new stadium plans”

I agree that CCc taking over the YB mortgage was a game changer. But I disagree that sisu are waiting for ACL to go into administration - that could take years. More likely they are waiting to see how CCc will react over the coming months. The purpose of taking over the mortgage was to help...

    What/Who is "OSB"?

    Short for Obsessive Sisu Basher?

    If Fisher was to leave..

I would put my money on changes in ACL management before changes in ccfc management.

Did I support ACL & CCC for the right or wrong reasons?

Oh, right! Thanks! For a second I thought I had completely missed something important. Turns out I had just completely switched off my brain.

Did I support ACL & CCC for the right or wrong reasons?

One thing that surprised me in that article was that Higgs apparently voted FOR the original CVA. I didn't know that. Was that information in the public domaine already? Anyway, it seems the 'game' is finally coming to the end. There is still a JR to hear and of course Mr Appeltons report of...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

Surely you wouldn't impose NOPM on a poor childrens charity! You ... you ... SISU!!!

    More from APOM

You have more likely mis-heard what he said. He never said the players were never registered in the books of Limited. Actually he used a significant amount of words in trying to describe how they were once registered in Limited - and why - but now they were in Holdings. We do know that not all...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

The 'leaked' documents were all pre Fisher, so they only show what Fisher have said all along: That prior managements have registered players in Limited when they should have been registered in Holdings (leaving out the question of where the Golden Share is registered or should have been...

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

That's true - but a large empty land piece will require a suitable buyer. Like someone who intend to build a shopping mall or a football stadium.

Coventry City boss admits 'errors' after leak of confidential players' documents

They won't be stupid and buy land as long as there's a slight chance of them being able to buy ACL.
