They can't simply make an offer out of the blue. The parties need to agree heads of terms - show intentions of being a buyer and being a seller on set conditions. Then they need to do a due dilligence to make sure all contracts and financial arrangements is known.

I would say the most logical part is probably sisu - they live on numbers. CCC is probably the least logical part - they live on oppinions.

I think 'owning the stadium' means the freehold and the shares in ACL (which could lead to ACL being closed down and replaced by AEG).

Thanks, gave me a chance to listen. Most important bit for me was ML saying they had agreed with CCC to buy the stadium- they have a term sheet on CCC paper. They were to bring in AEG to replace ACL ... and here you may find the reason for the 'slight opposition' from ACL. But it's not news...
