Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

It has nothing to do with FL. It's a business dispute, not football related. If you want an independent party to help broker a deal, then support the call for an arbitration.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

If I could moderate this debate I would erase any post that contained 'a house is valuated ...' and 'they have moved on ...' Valuation of property and business is very different. The analogy is very poor. Neither ACL nor sisu have moved on. Both actually want the club to play at the Ricoh. ACL...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Maybe - but a fair question could be have all politicians who voted for the bailout seen the valuation?

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

ML calls for making the 2012 valuations public. I don't think it has anything to do with sisu wanting to initiate negotiations at this point - it's about putting facts into the public domain and is aimed at slowly winning over fans, businesses and even politicians. If the reports are kept...

    What would you have done?

Tell them to f*ck off to Northampton or something?

    £20m to buy Acl

What is the value of the shares? If the club bought ACL it would be the shares they bought. That way they would own the company. What they would do with the loan afterwards is not part of the take over.

    Charity Value of its share

    That's blasphemy on here.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Reading is easy ... it's the math that we struggle with.

    £20m to buy Acl

Hmm - isn't it irrelevant if CCC don't want to sell?

ACL has "net value of nil"

I have to give you credit - it didn't take you much to completely derail this thread. Well done.

ACL has "net value of nil"

I am sure there's enough threads about Sixfields and the cost of playing there. But bringing it up here? Maybe it's you who are uncomfortable that all may not be well at ACL? All is not well anywhere as long as ACL is not part of the club structure.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Would that be accounted as turnover?

ACL has "net value of nil"

I seem to remember ACL calculating with a gross profit of £1m from the Olympics?

ACL has "net value of nil"

If there is a forum by then? It kind of depends if there is a club.

ACL has "net value of nil"

As it is now a legal dispute and with no solution in sight, I guess there is no way we will ever know all the details. The main point is that there really was a deal to be made. One that would have put the club in a much better place that it is now. Who's at fault? In my book they all are. There...

ACL has "net value of nil"

Yes, they should have a pretty good idea now. But they are not going to tell us, are they? Take out the Olympics and the club and you still believe they have a 'normal operational revenue' of £14m? I don't believe it for a second.

ACL has "net value of nil"

I agree. It's spin. But we lick it up and will have forgotten it in two years when accounts show it untrue.

ACL has "net value of nil"

Well, I am not 100% daft then (but who is 100% anyway?). That is too technical for me - I have no idea how to do the bookkeeping. I would go to someone like you and ask you to find the solution taking into account the purpose and the law. Remember the whole purpose of the exercise is for...

ACL has "net value of nil"

Look at transcript for day 2 - the questioning of PWKH. From about p. 60 (my copy) and forward is a lot about the loan, the discharge and how it is connected to the extension of the ACL lease. I know PWKH does his best to not understand the questions put to him, or remember the right context or...

ACL has "net value of nil"

From the court transcript and press releases by TF the loan was to be 'discharged'. In my understanding that is the same as 'written off' - so ACL would be free of that loan. Would CCC have to 'match' the value increase? Yes, they should extend the lease to 125 yr - which would further increase...
