Maybe YB got tipped off by someone who had left ACL with the full knowledge of the roadmap - someone who later became director at YB. But as long as there is no evidence, then it's pure speculation.

True - but there is also the 'August report' to consider.

    Private Eye Todays Issue

I think you should pay close attention to the mentioning of 'August' ... when the exclusivity period ran out and based on the August report from Mr West - and 'January' when CCC effectively had bailed out ACL.

It's about a rent deal after CCC had bailed out ACL.

It's a great tactic - I use it from time to time when one of my staff is getting too keen or overambitious. This will keep him quiet for some time, and when he finally gets back with loads of details, links and even more stuff to back up his theories, it can easily be shot down as 'not relevant...

Actually I want to back that question. It's been discussed over and over here and if someone could get a straight answer from sisu/TF/Labovich that would be vey helpful. What construction are they aiming for? Will there be a new prop-co sitting under Otium or SBS&L?

    A few questions for PWKH

I think that when Otium had their bid accepted (and let's assume that bid was constructed to leave £600t to ACL - rest to minor creditors and to PA) they had to pay the amount to an account controlled by the administrator. In return Otium received whatever they bought out of Limited - and they...

Fair play to you! I am sure more have changed their opinion to various degrees, but most seem to just vanish from the debate - great you stay on.

    A few questions for PWKH

I can't find the post I made on that subject back then, but in essence I suggested the offer from Otium was calculated to make sure ACL would receive the approx. amount of rent owed. I am not sure, but isn't it the liquidation of Holding being contested? If that's the case, then it may hold...

Seems you have been promoted. I am told the limit is lifted all together when you reach 2.000 'likes'. I still have to type at least 50 characters .... Oh, well .... SISU OUT!

Bad reading for a couple of you

The ccfc assets/liabilities would never be transferred to ACL. It wouldn't be ACL owning part of the club (OEG) - but SBS&L owning a part of ACL (in a separate prop-co).

Bad reading for a couple of you

I wonder if this allegation was 'the sisu fishing expedition' most agreed formed part of the trial? Sadly I don't have the time to go back and look at the evidence that was used to support and rebuff the claim, so for now it's just a hunch.

Sorry - I usually cut up longer posts and reply outside quotes. But I got lazy :-) The £6m-£8m is from the transcripts - forgive me for not trawling through some 400 pages to find it. But maybe you will agree that it seems plausible as CCC went to YB with an offer of £8m. And actually I have...

One sided anti-council? Really? Are you convinced one sided anti-sisu things helps at all?

Maybe what went wrong wasn't between Higgs and sisu but something to do with the third party involved ... you know the one we can't mention until the JR? And No, they didn't try to negotiate Higgs shares down. That's not how I read the transcripts. To me Higgs tried to do a deal outside the...

Robbie, where have you been for the past week? Didn't you read about the Higgs vs Sisu case? Didn't you hear Higgs agreed to sell their shares and that they even agreed a price with sisu? Didn't you hear that CCC agreed to let sisu buy the Higgs shares and accept sisu as partner of ACL? Didn't...

In my opinion the 'let's wait till after the JR' and 'We have only heard one side of the story' or 'CCC members are bound to silence until the JR' ... it's a red herring. Surely any member can speak freely about what they will do to bring back ccfc to the Ricoh? Surely any member can speak...

Vote Them Out. Demo on Sat 10 May & campaign aimed at getting councillors to speak.

How can it be a mis use of the democratic system? I thought the democracy was build on the principle that everyone can have their say, everyone can vote and everyone can run for a seat. But as I said previously - this may put the clubs situation on the local agenda. It may well be that members...

Well, I think this should be applauded. If nothing else it will make headlines and cause debate. Put the situation on the local political agenda. Maybe this is more effective than trying to get a debate in the parliament about how the FL have f*cked up?
