Nice to read from the Gills fans

Any video of 'that' chant online....? Was an intense moment unlike anything I've experienced before. Made the hairs on my neck stand up.

Gillingham Match Thread - The Ricoh Return

Reda has been immense at the back first half.

    Unsung heroes

If you had ever met Michael you would know that this simply isn't true. He is a cov fan that has worked very hard trying to do what is best, whilst attracting some somewhat undeserved criticism. Whilst some of his ideas and opinions may have differed to some other, he has only tried to do what...

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

The one thing that will make the Ricoh more our home than anything else will be filling it with fans on a regular basis. Packing the stands and and getting the singing going and it is amazing how a ground suddenly gains some character. The Rioch main problem has been that it coincided with some...

'Not One Penny More' was about sticking two fingers up at SISU whilst they moved us to Sixfields, and to achieve this by stopping home ticket sales and merchandise. The fans supporting en masse away further emphasised the point and Arsenal was a superb opportunity to do this in national TV...

THE PROTEST EFFECT - Did it really make a difference ???

The fact that our average gate at Sixfields was below Tim Fishers worst expectations must have affected the decision making at SISU.

    hamster worn out already

Onto the 'Please select the seats you wish to purchase page' but I get a black box? Does this eventually turn into something useful?

    hamster worn out already

I'm still trying to get through online. Not surprised in the slightest though as I doubt that the online shop has ever experienced this level of demand. Totally unprecedented and the club could not be expected to upgrade the servers purely on the chance of one stupidly busy morning.

As I said in the other thread, more than happy to see the NOPM / KCIC campaigns drawn to a close now that we are back to the Ricoh. Looking forward to better times, still think we will be better off without SISU but little steps first. See you all at the Ricoh on the 5th!

    We're back!

So, so happy right now! I am quite happy close the NOPM campaign now that we are back at the Ricoh. Dont get me wrong, I still think SISU arent good for the long term future of the club but the campaign has achieved its primary goal.

As for the Ricoh, the funding will not have effected services as it is covered by its own loan. I believe the JR statement from the Judge gave a figure for the rates charged and the council made a margin of either 1 or 2% I think, but would nee to check the document to be certain. Therefore...

Not that this thread should be about politics but..... Everyone wants to have their cake and eat it. The fact of the matter is that whilst individuals may have been better off under the labour government, the economy of the country as a whole disappeared down the toilet and now we are reaping...

Trust the Trust + kcic is taking a break!

Where is the u-turn? There have been many queries as to what the campaign meant and I have always tried to maintain a sensible approach that minor turnover from away tickets and othe odds and ends did not matter. The important part of the campaign were the home games and the merchandise...

Ricoh legal row costs city tax payers £500k

The judgement didn't benefit ACL in any way, it just wasn't detrimental.... It did however cause SISU a huge amount of damage and they will probably have to pay for the privilege as well....!
