Will we try and nick an Established League one boss?

Ddidn't say I wanted him here, just that he was at the game on Tuesday and was on the radio chatting to Linnell and Eakin

    Chris Hussey

Wasn't it agreed that the Chris Hussey account was fake? Or was that just the Twitter one?

Will we try and nick an Established League one boss?

Kevin Blackwell was at the game here on Tuesday and said he was dying to get back into management.

    I have a horrible feeling............

Bound sure to be Carsley and Richard Shaw isn't it? Honeymoon period will kick in, the results will pick up and then they will be given until the end of the season.

How was Thorn at fault today?

In spite of everything though and without all of the constraints he has been under, his stewardship has been riddled with lots of silly schoolboy error decision making. It's not about just the 3 games and that is quite obvious.

New season expectations now AT is gone

And anyway, I predicted we would finish 14th under Thorn and he's now gone and we are indeed 14th. :D

New season expectations now AT is gone

Predicted 14th. With Thorn gone I think we can be top 8 and even higher for sure. Shame for him, but unfortunately he just wasn't up to the job and I would be very surprised if he ever gets another managerial job and I don't think if he does that he will ever be a success. Hope we keep him on...

    Andy thorn has been sacked

Kilbane has been shit. Corrected it for you.

What are the other factors for the sacking of Thorn?

Definitely attendance figures. They have budgeted for 11,000 this season. The way things have gone thus far the gates were only looking like they were going to dwindle. Other factors must be 'good football, lack of end product.' Tactical naivety' too. Nice bloke, tried his best, unfortunately...

How was Thorn at fault today?

Yep. It was clear the manager was partly culpable and obviously that is exactly how the board felt too.

    Andy thorn has been sacked

It is now double news headlines! "Coventry City sack manager Andy Thorn" "In other news, silver haired local BBC radio presenter fund hanging in his flat in just his underpants."

    Thorn sacked tonight

Attendances would go up. They invariably do when a new man is at the helm.

    praise for brown :0

Jordan Willis has played right back before and I thought he looked quite decent in doing so.

How was Thorn at fault today?

The players must very much take the brunt of the blame, but I can't see how anyone can argue that our management team wasn't outwitted by theirs. Wood's mistake let them back in the game, but then when they started to get on top that was the time for our bench to react to what was going on and...

    Bury Matchday Thread

Your manager got his tactics spot on in the 2nd half. Only reason people on here haven't praised Bury is because they are so angry with our own 2nd half effort that is all they feel they can concentrate on.

    Bury Matchday Thread

Bury looked dangerous 2nd half, but their shooting was abysmal.

    Thorn sacked tonight

Don't think any of us believed Eric Black would be a success after the disaster that was Gary McAllister and with Black himself being part of that very management team. Simply unreasonable to say that any of AT's team would be a disaster. Every man to himself is an individual and would do...

How was Thorn at fault today?

An awful lot of people have seemingly changed their minds on him after yesterday.

    Why the panic

Can go one of two ways. We win next game and it's 1 win, 3 draws, undefeated. Won't look at all bad. 4 games undefeated and a win. If we lose though, 3 draws and 1 defeat and then it's all going to look quite awful with no wins in 4 games. Draw again of course and it's as we were and it's...

    Thomas Ince

Very impressed with him. Future England international perhaps if he keeps developing as he is now?
