Thought he came across well today. Could all be bullshit of course but he certainly came across okay.

I'm not saying he is. Still wrong to totally dismiss him out of hand though when we have no idea whether he would do well or not. And it's not as if the manager's we've brought in previously who had experience and have had success elsewhere have been any good for us either is it .... Dowie...

I would like to see an experienced manager too, but it is simply wrong just to dismiss Richard Shaw out of hand. He could be a great manager, who knows. Where would the likes of your attitude got us when it was suggested Sillett and Curtis as managers all those years back? :thinking about:

We can only hope. Personally though, I really think our fortunes will change for the better. I do think a half-decent manager will be able to get this team into the top 6.

Sad to see him go, but that is merely because he was in above his head and probably just took on the role at first to help the club out. I am also sad for him because he seems a decent bloke and for what it's worth I liked him a lot more than I did Reid and Coleman. He wasn't up to the job...

Please tell me where this fantasy air of smug satisfaction is and why we are a laughing stock? Cos I can't see it and it seems clearly apparent that things have been going on behind the scenes at the club with Thorn. Not going to go into all the rumours but it sounds like something wasn't...
