Agreed, But still needed 4 good chances to convert 1, something McNulty is getting criticised for. (I'm being a bit hypocritical here because I've been fairly critical of McNulty myself but it seems to be coming together now).
I liked him. Reminded me of Duck in many ways.
Lots of fans saying they would like him in our side. Wouldn't disagree but he had 4 very good chances today and scored 1, the sort of conversion rate McNulty gets slated for!
Game was too open.
Had enough chances to put it to bed.
Was asked about the fans reaction to McNulty -
McNulty is a good player, will become a favourite, supporters who know the game will know how good he is.
Praised Biamou for his work rate.
Praised Bayliss.
Said McDonald had fallen on his...
Wycombes away form isn't good and I reckon our centre halves are more suited to a physical battle against Akinfenwa than dealing with the trickery and mobility they faced today from Eisa so hopefully we can follow today up with another win.
don't watch too much Premiership football these days but currently watching Man City v Spurs.
What a player De Bruyne is. I reckon we'd definitely get in the play offs if we had him!
to be honest I was starting to fall into that category and I'm normally stupidly optimistic. No home wins since September and last weeks awful performance were wearing me down.
Spirits very much lifted after today albeit realistic enough to know we still have issues.
it always amazes me how middle aged white men know exactly how to handle sexual abuse, racism, misogyny though the vast majority haven't experienced any of them.
today they weren't hiding I agree, but they do shirk responsibility. The amount of times a ball fell between two players and they'd look at each other rather than attack the ball was incredible.
Still issues but today has really lifted my spirits after last week.
but we still have too many players prepared to shirk responsibility. Hopefully that is symptom of the poor run we've been on and todays 3 points will help remedy ti with improved confidence.
