    Is your town a coventry city stronghold ?

    Me and 3 other City fans in my village. Some of Greg Abbotts family live 5 doors down and they are Bell G so def Cov. Mostly leics fans unfortunately but it irritates the feck out of them that I am a proud Coventry kid.

    And Ive got the hang of the chants. It appears to be any combination of the following C;Mon Cov (preferably in deep voice) Heavo Cov (scrum time!!) Pusssshhhhhh (see above) And the classic Cooovvveeeennnntryyyyy Coooovvvveeennntry (relpeat slowly several tiimes) What could be simpler!!!!

    Most people I spoke to at the Cov Rugby were going - Rugby fans just seem to love a game of Rugby and they just cant resist seeing a Premier league side so close to home. The local clubs all seem to be supporting it to!!!! CCFC made its own bed some time ago - but what chance has CRFC got???

    29th Nov..despite a home game I'm off to see an excitng game of chase the egg with top of the table clash againt Ealing at Butts Park. Always the optomist, but now I just want to take my son and the father in law to see an entertaining game involving an on the up Coventry team.

    I've done that for the next 12 months, and the parents are in support of that. But at 8 it will be harder to keep them away. All very predatory and not good when you are trying to grow their confidence as team players
