Jackson and Johnson missing international duty!

Maybe my eyes are failing me, but the last time Tudgay was on the pitch I could have sworn I saw cobwebs forming between his boots and elbows. After the game too I believe there was one shirt short for the laundry, as his shirt had been put back into the clean pile.

    Protest Tuesday

Just had a further reply from one of my councillors. Dear Mr. Bingo Flapjacks, Thank you for your email regarding the Ricoh Arena. The matter will be discussed this evening, in the full Labour Group, and tomorrow afternoon in Full Council. You can be re-assured I will listen with great...

Think most of us were just relieved to be honest. Don't think we wanted Sisu, but it seemed to be the only show in town. More out of necessity than anything else. I see this Wasps thing possibly ending up like the Sisu scenario, whereby shareholders were asked to hand in their shares. They...

Jackson and Johnson missing international duty!

McQuoid played really well I thought on Saturday, but his shooting on the whole was woeful. Jackson seems a more natural finisher.

Seems like it isn't a rush though and talks have been going on for some time and this could well be to takeover in 2 years when the initial CCFC agreement ends and before the further option.

She would, but she now doesn't want to go because of all the constant reminders about God. Think she just believes it would be false of her to enter into prayers and 'play along.'

Not being funny here, but that is a pretty small point.

I would also just add, that people would accept say a 10 year deal here, because the other option as it stands is for CCFC to move out in 4 years time and we all pretty much agree that there will be no new stadium, so we would have to go off and ground share anyway. All this of course is based...

It may well do, NW, it may well do. I'm sure the fact we are now home is guiding people's thoughts too. I think most people will accept any security, however short term that may be. Most fans do not want a new stadium, they want us at the Ricoh. If we got a 10 year deal at the Ricoh people...

Not if you are Spider Ricoh. If you are SR then everything bad for Sisu is good for the club.

But don't Swansea and Ospreys share a stadium, with Swansea being able to play lovely, flowing football? Is their pitch 'ripped up?' It looks like it won't be good news for us, this deal, but what I think he is just saying is it will be business as normal. I don't want Wasps here, but if it...

The goalposts do keep quite slightly moving don't they on this. Also find it odd that Wasps would want to come and play here when nearly all their fans say they won't come and watch. You also have to remember how much further away we are talking here compared to us and Northampton. Seems to...

CCFC should buy Cov Rugby Club

It's what i fear about any new stadium too. The owners may well say 15,000 or 18,000, but when push came to shove I would expect it to be built a lot more cheaply that first mooted (remember Arena 2000 and retractable pich? Roof?) and it to end up a much smaller capacity too.

CCFC should buy Cov Rugby Club

The Butts Arena has a capacity of just 4,000. Looking at the ground there, there is very little scope for expansion. Hotels and flats etc. have been built or are being built as we very speak. Would guess the biggest it could ever be would be 10,000.

And, also, put it this way. Let's say for a moment that the vast Wasps fans wanted this move to the Ricoh. Do we really believe for a second they would care one jot if it meant us being kicked out of our home? I think it's really decent that some on here would be totally against the move even...

As I have said, from the council's perspective, if they believe the deal beneifts all parties then of course they will vote yes. Wasps fans won't even enter their thinking, same as with Northampton with us. I'm sure their chairman at Sixifelds didn't think about City fans for more than a fleeing...
