    The double bind

I should report this post for racism.

Well if this is the last year of his contract and he is trying to sell himself to other clubs, I think we should gladly milk that situation for all its worth if that means good performances from the lad while he's here.

    The double bind

I want my football club to have at least a share in the stadium. If that means having to work with Wasps, then so be it. We don't want Wasps here and I'm sure Sisu didn't want them here in the Ricoh either, but here they are. We can't do anything to change that. As most of us are football fans...

    Thomas suspended for Orient

Surely the other way round would make more sense. Philips in the midfield and Willis at right back.

    Thomas suspended for Orient

Strange idea. Has he ever played midfield before?

We pushed up too and just pressed higher up the pitch. Energy levels were much higher and we harried and closed down.

    Thomas suspended for Orient

Disagree. That middle 2 is too weak. No ball winner in there and no-one to press. They are both playmakers. Can't see that Fleck and Barton could ever work as a tandem.

    Thomas suspended for Orient

    Yep. Exactly that.

This is what you get with Conor Thomas too unfortunately. Some don't want him to do well because it goes against their cast iron, set in stone, judgement upon him. If you say a player can't tackle and is lazy then obviously you want that to be fully justified and recognised every game, for fear...

I agree. Can't believe it was just down to two players kicking arses.

Saturday was less about formations and more about our pressing higher up the pitch and playing at a higher tempo. Add that to the desire and spirit shown and that is where you will find the win coming from. Glad someone kicked their arses at half time, whoever that may have been.

    Most definitely.

I respect everyone's opinions, but the sport is absolutely fantastic!

I like rugby and I like American Football. As for the London NFL team, it may well be a completely new team and not involve stealing someone elses team. I do hope that is the case. I hope it is an expansion team. Fresh start.

It was an exciting game today. Kind of like being 3 nil down and winning 4-3. I would hope if an NFL team is to come to London that it is an expansion team, as with what the NFL did 20 years ago, when they introduced 4 new teams.

Who said it was alright? Not going to keep arguing over it. You seem determined to beat people over the head with your view. I have never said it is alright, I have just said that is the way it is. It is an acceptable face of the sport in the US. So many teams have moved and changed names...

    Government to back Franchise

I don't agree with franchising. Have always said that. At the same time though this is a different sport, in a different country with a different mindset, without the same history and heritage we have in the game of football over here. It is different. I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying...

Indeed. Used to love football so much more, but it has all gone too cynical for me these days. Killing time by the corner flag, time wasting, shirt pulling, feigning injury and us only getting about 4 or 5 exciting games a season. Might be different if I say supported Liverpool I guess.
