    Sad reality of our city

Seem to remember being chased by scousers wielding the spiked poles from the park fence..... They were not happy....

    Sad reality of our city

Remember it well, arrived late ( coach broke down, so I walked up the motorway to the next petrol station and hitched a lift. Scouser drove me right to the Anfield ground - game had started - where I heard a huge roar - city had scored..... Couldn't believe the atmosphere in the stadium..... We...

    Sad reality of our city

Absolutely correct. Tbf, not just SISUs fault, but they certainly are not going to change things for the better. We don't even have a reason to "hope" for success.

    Sad reality of our city

When I was at school, and later at work, city were in the first division and virtually everyone was a city fan. Monday was always talk about the city. I used to get to Highfield Road really early to get a good standing place as a teenager. Now, the hope has gone and with it any remaining...

Trust calls on Coventry City FC owners Sisu to sell-up and leave

I agree that nothing will happen. SISU own the club. They dictate to the fans what will happen. Fans don't like it, but own no part of the club. If it was just about football or achieving success, maybe they would listen, but football is only a part of the game here. There is the JR, selling...

Trust calls on Coventry City FC owners Sisu to sell-up and leave

Tbf, if people didn't want SISU out they could have said so, especially seeing it as a loaded question. Seeing that most were not bothered enough to counter the question, it would appear they were content to allow the expected SISU out message to be confirmed.

What was the WASPS crowd today

According to OSB, this ( TF's reasoning ) is total bollocks anyway as the 14m gets paid out of ACL cash flow and they are not joint and severally liable above their shares in the limited company. OSB has heard of no extra guarantees or debentures, so risk is severely limited. Apparently.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Osb can't find this debenture. Does it exist? Also Wasps Holdings is already covered by charges to D Richardson - apparently. So in the worst case scenario, the debenture would be worthless - apparently. Is this true? Have you posted an inaccurate post ( which you told Moff you don't do )? I'm...

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

what at is the value of the lease if Wasps as stadium users fail? In the know claims there is also a debenture on Wasps Holdings, presumably for that scenario. Only problem being Wasps Holdings assets..... Wasps "golden share"...?

good start to the morning. That means a definite 0:0, including a missed penalty.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

OSB has also said he doesn't know of any guarantees from Wasps Holdings. In the know says there is a debenture on Wasps Holdings to the benefit of the council ( which is a sort of guarantee ). I don't know who is right. who said SISU were wrong to pursue legal action if they are right? I said...

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

As I understand it, the 1m is for the Rent on the lease for the duration of the lease, paid in advance. Otherwise it could be paid at 4000 a year over 250 years. Has Wasps Holding a negative equity?

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

No, I said that at the time it probably wasn't overvalued. After all the legal crap and the Rent strike it was, according to you, a "carcass' and 6m was too much.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

Question: has the 1m been paid in Advance? If so, why do you need security?

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

At the time no. In a partly distressed state as you claim, yes.

Bob Ainsworth on ACL sale to Wasps

In the case of a business you would look at the assets and liabilities when making an offer. If it had no liabilities you would be able to offer more money. In the case of Wasps they would have seen the 14 m liability and made their offer accordingly. CCC would have looked at it as seller and...
