    Fisher on new stadium

Some people on here think that Wasps crowds are boosted by ticket offers. Maybe ask them for tips on how to do it properly.....? ;-)

    Fisher on new stadium

The Club were not interested in the deal Wasps got and made no serious offer with a business plan to CCC prior to Wasps. They would not have got ripped apart if CCC had said ok, let's negotiate from here. They would have been praised for at least making an offer. That is however pure conjecture...

    Fisher on new stadium

Was not the term "the door is open" used in the anticipation of an offer from SISU? Then it became more we must move on..... Still no serious offer with a business plan from SISU. Instead, reminders from TF that he is building a stadium and has moved on... TF still insists he wouldn't have taken...

    Fisher on new stadium

the trend - for some on here - is to keep mentioning alleged failings of CCC any time SISU is on the ropes in a discussion. I would have thought the council would be mentioned less as they are no longer involved. SISU are still in control and deserve being criticised on a number of points.

Coventry City 'can't survive in League One' and have their priorities wrong

Where was the council mentioned in the article? It is not in the remit of a council to ball out fucked up football clubs. The people who should be backing the the team are the owners. They are interested in a real estate deal with a stadium involved, rather than promotion to the Championship -...

    commentary on SBS& L group 2014 accounts

Thanks for the info. Basically the Players and share ( use of ) are worth whatever a buyer will pay on the day we sell them in reality. So without Arvo and SISU's support we are worthless - and that is apparently the best Position since SISU took over. Doesn't fill me with confidence.

    commentary on SBS& L group 2014 accounts

Question: where is the "golden share" now (whose asset is it? ) and how, if at all, is it valued? I would think that the share and the player's registrations are the most valuable assets.

Mowbray, is he the right man ?

If Mowbray fails then that is it for CCFC..... Pressley failing could be put down to a relatively experienced manager trying his best in extreme conditions ( and unfortunately for him and us, not being up to it ), but Mowbray will have sought his "assurances" in advance having seen what happened...

    Qatar world cup

As a kid I thought the WC was about football and it would be played somewhere where you could play football. I am amazed at the choices of a desert and of a country ruled by a cleptocracy. Blatter has doubled up the selection to get a hefty whack before he gets too old. He will hang on to the...

    Qatar world cup

80% of WC players play in European Leagues which will be disrupted for 2 months. The Country is the Size of a postage stamp Baking in the Sun with no Football tradition run by an undemocratic Elite who care nothing about the working and payment conditions of the near Slave foreign workers. not...

    Qatar world cup

Sepp Blatter ( and buddies ) cashed in by doing two World Cups at once.... Knowing he would be too old to go through another selection. Nothing to do with Football or leagues.

Managers Need time To Build ?

100 games is enough to show strengths and weaknesses. Pity it wasn't working for SP. The only valuable asset that SISU still own is the golden share. To risk Relegation and have the possiblity of a Second Relegation next year was probably too much Risk for SISU. Without a League Club they own...

    Latest Wasps accounts filed

Basically Wasps owner is behind them and they are moving forward at high Speed as opposed to CCFC driving into a brick wall at high speed.

assurances - doesn't refer to the council, but to SISU giving assurances on whatever he asked them for. That the council should support CCFC is a wish not a demand.

An open letter to Joy by PSB Group

Yes, but in the sentence above he blamed the move on not got getting assurances from SISU. That the council should support CCFC is secondary to the main reason - that the owners should give the necessary assurances. The council are hardly likely to give the manager assurances - that is the job...

No. People are being deflected from the real problems of CCFC, Wasps did not destroy CCFC. They are here as a result of the problems.

Probably not, but they are articulating what many people think. I see it as a vent for the anger which is building up as we Slip further down the league. I am sure that SISU monitor these things - they are not oblivious to the fans ( even if they don't react ). Joy is carrying out her threat of...
