    'Anti-SISU brigade'

The judges at the JR and Higgs case said that the council have done nothing wrong ( in respect of those cases ). Does that make them members of the "anti SISU Brigade"?

Players that can't trap a bag of sand.....

No it isn't. We returned from exile to the Gillingham game. The pitch had not been maintained to a high Standard and we had lost our groundsman to Leicester. This was because TF said we are building a stadium and Will Never Return to the Ricoh as tenants. The Rugby Club made a temporary...

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

The value of which ( stadium management company ) would be governed by the site, capacity, non Match day Revenues and Rent. i don't see much value and still think that this all about Real Estat.

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

In theory. What if SISU tie CCFC to their stadium through some contract? SISU's only interest is a Return ( or recovery ) for their Investors. The Investors won't Invest without some guarantee of a Return.

Extremely bobbly and uneven.... Uncle Nobby?

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

If a SISU company owns the new ground and Sets the Rent, do you think Investors will come Running to buy CCFC? I don't.

I've never been away..... I read a lot on here, but don't always comment ( I thought commenting was voluntary ). Thanks anyway...:-)

Players that can't trap a bag of sand.....

Yes, you can blame the twats who took us to Northampton for that. Over a year away, löst the groundsman, other events held etc..

Booked my flight home to catch Colchester and/or Oldham.... Thought something good was going to happen - instead the usual false dawn followed by a relegation battle....

    Pressley suing CCFC

No. Nor were They in charge when Richardson sued ( threatened - ended up as a Deal ) for unfair dismissal claiming he wasn't informed properly - although he was at the Board Meeting where They voted him out. I think it was for 300000.

    Pressley suing CCFC

In the case of SISU you would expect the unexpected to Happen on pay day.... As Higgs and ACL found out ( Higgs hadn't covered every Single eventuality and ACL didn't realise that CCFC Ltd was a redundant property company plus the Story of the missing golden share ). More fool SP.... Watch out...

    Wll said Spider

Yes. People such as Tony are stating the obvious. Owners who own a stadium in Coventry are a better Bet than ones trying to build a smaller stadium somewhere near by. A new billionaire Owner who wants to make City World Beaters would be great..... Chances are extremely Remote, so being under the...

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

No. We would only be renting it from SISU anyway and we dont even know where to build it. It may be too small to sustain us if we ever got to the Pl. There could be a case if the site was right, the Size was right and it had facilities to bring in outside revenue and belonged to a company set up...

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

Yes, but that is what he actually said. He may not be a Genius, but he probably knows more about Football finance than most of us and JS. I can't see him knowing all of the facts though in our complicated case ( putting it politely ). I would like CCFC to drop the stadium idea for the time being...

New Coventry City FC stadium plan seems 'crazy', says football finance expert

No, he seems to be saying that a reboot maybe necessary before we get anywhere ( first Part of story ) and a Deal at the Ricoh is the best Route whilst we are in our current Position. To build a stadium now is Crazy. The situation is too complicated ( and there is the posibilty of a further...

Relegation "would not be the end of the world" for CCFC

Seriously. Has he been asked about that? It would be interesting to see an "expert" opinion about stadium financing.

No, and he conveniently forgets to mention the bank's name and how it panned out at the end of his reign.... Commerzbank wasn't it?

    The Ricoh

Blue has been the colour associated with Coventry since the Middle Ages being the used a mark for Coventry wool. So let's hope Wasps keep the seats in blue, if only to keep the citizens in their new home quiet.

    The Ricoh

Why is Wasps Support undeserved? They have put a lot into getting people to come and are doing well at their sport. It would, of course, be undeserved if the football club were putting more than them into getting people to come and doing better at their sport. But CCFC are not. They ( the owners...
