What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never seen/read the book. I was just saying I didn’t think he tried to destroy the NHS whilst Health Secretary.

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Im no big Hunt fan but he had to deal with the budget he was given to some extent (the actual deal for junior doctors was better than what they were on previously but it needed weekend flexibility). The NHS, whilst a fantastic service that none of us would want to lose is a total money pit. The...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

When I heard him on a Q&A on LBC I thought he came across pretty well as well Ps ‘tried to destroy the NHS’ is a bit strong. I actually thought the junior doctors stand off (which was seen as his major issue/fuck up during his time as health secretary) was an attempt to improve the nhs service...

    Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Agreed. If the club think our strikers are the finished article then not getting anyone else in is crazy, however, at ages 22-24 I’m guessing Robins can see plenty of opportunity for improvement. Fingers crossed he’s right. I believe at least one or two will kick on this coming season and with...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Just been listening to LBC (radio station)....sad I know ! Had hunt on and now gove for an hour each, interviewed and callers questions. Far better way to understand what they’re about rather than a shouty, point scoring exercise. C4s programme might’ve been a better Q&A, however, neither gave...

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Didn’t miss much Sure he had a couple of liveners before going on....reckon Rory tucked in as well !

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Let’s be honest, that was shambolic. Probably justified Boris not turning up to the previous one. Too many people wanting to get heard, gove looking into the wrong camera, Hunt staring right through the correct one (scary !), Rory making a point of being overly honest. Works with two or three...

    New TV series 2019

Otis/Matthew - I’ve not watched when they see us yet (next on list !) but worth tracking down Central Park Five documentary from a few years ago. Ps other good docs - Operation Odessa, last breath and legend of cocaine island (in that order)

    Trump is here

To be fair I’m not a trump fan (a dangerous bafoon a fair bit of the time), however, he does appear to have a bit more affinity for our country than many others past and present world leaders (including some of our own politicians) I haven’t been through all the pages on here but guessing...

    Just for Martcov

All I could think of when I heard about the incident was ‘salted caramel and banana milkshake’ ....sounds nice ‘£5.25’....that’s more than a pint of Estrella ps bit of a waste really

Transfer Rumour Bayliss-rumour mill already started!

Pretty confident that Bayliss will end up playing at a higher level than us in the short term. Would be great to keep hold of him for at least one more season, reckon after a tough second season he’ll have a good one next year.

    Local elections

I disagree with 5live, spoiled ballot papers actually shows an engagement in politics (people bothering to go and spoil it is a protest vote), just a total dissatisfaction of the clowns in parliament ! Low turnout probably shows more of a lack of engagement so interesting/positive to see some...

    Talking about nationally...obviously;)

    Local elections

Not at all. This is a semi protest vote against the main two parties handling of Brexit. I think the European Elections would be a better baraomenter on views of Brexit as the new parties will be involved (probably equally as split as referendum). My point remains the same, UKIP have pushed...

    Local elections

Looks like both major parties are taking a hammering ! Good ! The Tories have been useless and Corbyns a chancer. They’ve both been a disgrace lately. I feel sorry for the local councillors of the big two parties, a lot of whom are hard working and don’t deserve to be connected to the pathetic...

    Bayliss

He’s struggled a bit in a midfield two this season but he’s still learning so who knows. When he’s at his best, Bayliss is great at driving forward with the ball/got good vision so hope he can. If Bright stays (would be great but still a long shot) then it will be hard for Bayliss to get in...

    Bayliss

Played in very different roles this season (even though both are probably best just behind the forwards). Also not saying that Bright hasn’t been better this season, agree, his stats will prove that, just think Bayliss will kick on and if he does could become a better all round player
  20. C

    Bayliss

Bright and Bayliss are quite different players who play in the same position. Mught go against a lot on here, however, I personally think Bayliss, if he kicks on, could still end up the better all round player. He could learn from Bright taking the game by the scruff of the neck though...
