Great all round performance (no bad performances), could/should have been 4 or 5. Stand out performers Willis and Baka with special mentions to Kelly and Bayliss. Some might question bayliss (and focus on one or two sloppy passes) but some of his quality on the ball is head and shoulders above...

    Charlie Wakefield

Snap. Yes, he could/should have scored more but you can tell he’s got a bit of quality about him (whatever some of our fans think)

    I'll say it

I think everyone needs to chill out a bit. Yes, we’re having an inconsistent season but we were 6th best team in league two last year, lost McNulty who scored over half our goals last season and often have a starting line up with an average age of about 22/23....what do we expect ?! Robins...

That’s a fair point Grendel (never thought I’d hear myself say that !) Yes, Chaplin missed the header (looked like he was on his heels) and yes he comes too deep...but that’s usually because he is trying to get involved and make things happen....even if it doesn’t always help. Westbrooke MotM...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Really, you must be around a very narrow group of people Tony. It’s that type of stereotype that pisses a majority of Leavers off. To all - I’m struggling to get my head around this Brexit conundrum (After yesterday ive given up on the ‘how the fuck do City never score’ conundrum !) The EU and...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Blackpool Match Thread - Saturday 26th Jan

We usually save these performances for community day in front of 25k ! Saying that we were the better team first half (without creating), just sloppy second half

Haha, decent observation. Poor by Hyam for the second though. Doesn’t look the same player without Willis alongside him

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Agreed but to date it’s been people wanting the best for the Uk as long as it’s aligned to their view. What was interesting about this is that the audience (if reflective of their local community) aren’t those that historically wanted to Leave yet appear to be happy to accept the consequences of...

Sensible approach mate. This is still all about compromise, hopefully the powers that be on both sides see sense and agree something that can work well for the EU and us.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

To be fair to the public in general, most are pretty tolerant and reasonable. I think they are just fed up with how the whole thing has been handled (both in respect of our own politicians and the EU). They just want it done and dealt with. When they hear about further delays and they see and...

Agree with this 100%. Its disgraceful. They all continue with their entrenched views without even bothering to go into the detail. They should’ve had a test on implications and the withdrawal agreement before voting the other week. As I’ve said a hundred times before (sorry for banging on) but...

Don’t disagree. They say that employment figures often lag behind the economy, however, considering the massive uncertainty over the last couple of years, it’s still positive

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I find it disgraceful that we have any homeless on our streets, especially veterans who have served their country. I also agree that inequality in wages between the richest and poorest in society needs addressing because it’s scandalous. However, you have just spouted a load of nonsense about...

I'm not sure theyre "bollocks" Ian ! You're talking about wider political and economic issues As I alluded to though, there's always people who will peddle misery rather than accept that "some" of the news around is positive

I agree wholeheartedly...which is why the politicians should pull their fingers out, stop trying to delay and get on with it, the continued uncertainty is going to be what kills us. Also, for every bit of bad news post referendum result, and the mess being made of it by our political class...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Point accepted but it doesn’t necessarily follow that a suitable CU would be available to us. As I say, my understanding that if we entered into a CU with the EU, there would be expectations on FOM, cash in the pot and it would be extremely difficult to reach trade agreements with non EU...
