Terrible half that proves in stone Biamou and Wilson are nowhere near the level required. Not sure what Robins' plan will be second half. I recommend subbing both so we avoid a drumming.

Rotherham v Cov game now off too !

I think that's probably the case. Also, even if they could I question whether they would. Otherwise, they're then in the territory of playing 3 games a week multiple weeks which just isn't feasible, neither from a results POV or from player wellbeing perspective.

Rotherham v Cov game now off too !

Judging from the manager's comments it's likely they'll be struggling to field an able team against Bristol as well. With weeks away from the training ground and players suffering the after-effects from Covid I suspect they're going to find it extremely difficult to get through the next couple...

    Karanka gone?

To be fair I'm completely speculating. I suspect one of two scenarios have happened. Either Bowyer realised the chances of Charlton achieving promotion this season are becoming unlikely and therefore put his hat in the ring whilst still under employment, or Birmingham have contacted Bowyer...

    Karanka gone?

I did have a quick look at the table and noticed it didn't look particularly positive for them this season. Albeit they're only two points off 6th, but they've played two more games than the other teams around them. I can't see them going up this season - and clearly Bowyer thought the same.

    Karanka gone?

Not a bad appointment but they were never going to bring in an established name. Finances are tight and what reputable manager with a solid track record is going to go to Birmingham given the precarious nature of their position. Interesting that he resigned. I wonder if Birmingham tapped him...

I'm not all that surprised by this. Biamou is relatively poor when he asked to link up play, as despite the myth peddling and illusory truth effect, he's not particularly good at it and quite clearly struggles. He's much better - and looks far more comfortable - when playing up top on his own...

    Karanka gone?

In what universe would Chris Wilder optionally choose to go to Birmingham?

    Today’s games

If Birmingham were going to part ways with Karanka they should have made a more proactive decision in January. So, as bad as the results have been they may as well have just stuck with him. I'd be surprised if anyone reputable (or potentially anyone at all) filled the role. There's little...

    Karanka gone?

Will an appointment even be made? What reputable manager would even come to Birmingham now?

    Today’s games

His departure was inevitable. I also don't necessarily buy that Karanka's ability as a manager was the primary cause of all their on the field issues anyway. Their squad is pretty poor overall. As others have said I think it matters little who's in charge as it will take a monumental effort to...

He's also on £25k+ apparently. Not a player we're likely to be in the market for anytime soon.

    Today’s games

I think a draw will be a positive result against Luton. Despite losing they took the game to Swansea and were unlucky to get nothing out of today. It'll be a tough game which will be made tougher by the fact that it's away from 'home'. Also, I'm certainly not expecting us to win three on the...

Was a fairly irrelevant result in the grand scheme of things. They were hardly in contention to go down were they?

Rotherham v Cov game now off too !

An investigation is pretty inconsequential to us. At most Rotherham will be issued a heavy fine. It's highly unlikely they'll receive a points deduction and even if they did it would probably be suspended anyway.

    O'Hare

His valuation entirely depends on whether his form picks up between now and the end of the season. If his slump continues then I'd agree, we'd probably struggle to get significantly more than what we paid for him. However, if his form picks up again and he continues in the rich vein of form that...

Next season squad if we stay up...

1 year after this summer. His contract expires in June 2022.

Next season squad if we stay up...

Agree with this. It's McCallum's debut season in the Championship so it would be unfair to berate him too much, but personally I think based on his contribution so far, his season has been average to poor. Given the system we play, and how we play, he contributes very little to our forward play...

U23 game live against Sheff United

I've often thought this. Perhaps Robins believes that U23 games are an unnecessary risk for key players - and would therefore rather risk them in league games.
