What Astute constantly seems to ignore is that the owners can put equity in to increase the wage fund if they choose to. I do get the scepticism of that though, but people continually misquote and misunderstand how the FFP (SCMP) works.

There's a whole host of reasons to hate the council before you even get to the CCFC situation.

I remember when McGinnity tried to change the badge. The new one was fucking hideous. How he thought fans would be up for that shows how out of touch he was.

An amount of those have to be homegrown players, and that amount will remain the same with 4 less places for non-British players.

I think it is a perfectly sensible idea. We do have to accept though that any owners will be looking to make some money for themselves if possible. But if the club is successful on the pitch it will happen naturally.
