Damien Collins interview - sisu/acl crucial decision for football league

Was it just me that found it ironic that he bemoans the sale of a football club to 'people like SISU' whilst simultaneously championing the break up and sale of the NHS to 'people like SISU'.

It's actually Will.I.am and Britney Spears....

    Kevin Kyle

There won't be a day where he isn't feeling sick at the thought of how he behaved. At least he's man enough to take responsibility and look after his family now. Cut the guy some slack.

    No negotiations

I don't know how you keep a straight face writing that.... Maybe you and Michael attending the same 'spin masterclass' on a Weber Shandwick open day, Shane Warne would be proud of it. Back to your point.... He is the biggest self publicist going... comes on here making ridiculous statements...

    No negotiations

Michael makes some spurious comments and then fucks off because there were some legitimate questions to answer.... as usual.

Damien Collins interview - sisu/acl crucial decision for football league

I suppose the clarity of the ownership model would be beneficial. But he is making out that he is helping us, but actually his actions (if successful) would have very little impact on us.

Damien Collins interview - sisu/acl crucial decision for football league

If changes happened tomorrow they won't be able to stop SISU being the owner will they? The only thing we may find out is who is involved with SISU/Otium. It won't get rid of them

Damien Collins interview - sisu/acl crucial decision for football league

It doesn't matter what he thinks though does it? Any changes will not bring retrospective action will they? If he wants to highlight our case as a reason for change that's fine... but it does fuck all for us. The FL have made their decision... it is for them to sort it out now.

Maybe we should apply the same logic to KCIC.......

    One Year Contracts

1 year contracts are a good idea as they solve problems like getting players in that end up being rubbish. Downside is that you end up getting a 'Moussa' and then don't get any benefit from it when his contract is up.

    Are we Paying Decent Wages?

Ideally our club should have a model that leans towards rewarding success. If you were to offer players the opportunity to double their yearly salary if they achieve promotion that would be a win-win situation for all parties. Other bonuses, incentives etc for progress on the pitch.

    Baker Speaks On Losing Captaincy

I don't think he plays in the right position to be an effective captain. He will always try to lead by example but doesn't see enough of the game from where he is.

    Baker Speaks On Losing Captaincy

Wish we had more players that were as committed to the club as him.

    Negotiations

The fact that the money is with the FL means that ACL should be dropping that condition from their openness to negotiation. All that then remains is for SISU to end the appeal and it can begin.

Sky Blues Trust - Open Letter

When I read some of those comments on the CET page I think 'you actually care more about hating SISU than CCFC returning back to Coventry' Personally I have not been particularly enthused by the SBT in the past, but their letter is exactly what was needed - it was pertinent and relevant to the...

Sky Blues Trust - Open Letter

SISU are going nowhere anytime soon. Only realistically going to leave if we become successful on the pitch and they can sell on at a decent price.

Sky Blues Trust - Open Letter

So now the fickle turn on the SBT. You couldn't make it up.

    Very good letter.

    Let's hope not.
